Officials make ‘heinous’ discovery in wealthy Bay Area town

Authorities made a grim discovery in Silicon Valley earlier this week.

Three dolls with “dark complexion” were found hanged at several schools in Saratoga, a wealthy suburb of San Jose, officials said on Wednesday.

The Santa Clara County Sheriff's department said dolls were found at Redwood Middle School, Saratoga High School and Prospect High School.

“This is a horrific incident,” Saratoga Union School District Superintendent Ken Geisick said in a statement posted to the district’s website.

“We cannot state strongly enough that a noose is a reprehensible symbol of hate and violence and will not be tolerated in our district,” Geisick continued in the written statement. “As a community, we must stand united against such conduct and those who perpetrate it.”

The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday that it’s investigating the incident as a hate crime and asking the public for leads.

“This heinous act is not representative of the incredible students within the Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District,” said Tanya de La Cruz, the district’s public information officer, in an email to SFGATE.

Described as a city with a “small-town vibe” on its website, Saratoga is an affluent Silicon Valley enclave (population 30,000) where the median household income is about $200,000 per year. Homes in the area have a median value of $2 million, according to United States Census Bureau data. The town has a majority white and Asian population that’s 0.2% Black, 2.5% Latino and 0.4% American Indian and Alaska Native. Hate crime rates aren’t listed in Saratoga’s monthly crime database.

Anyone with information about the incidents may call Detective Sergeant Ramon Marquez at 408-808-4559 or the Sheriff’s Office Investigative Services anonymous tip line at 408-808-4431.

Henious Discoveries:

1400's: Thousands of dead for no apparent reason in a walled city barred from the inside! Everyone who sees it is cursed and dies screaming soon after. (Plague)P
1600's: Elizabeth Bathory bathes in the blood of children for 20 fucking years.
1700's: Entire ship's crews eaten alive. Cannons and muskets rip men apart in hideous ways.
1900's: Jonestown. Concentration Camps. Rwanda.
2000's: Dolls.

Fuck these people.

Dude, I have started down the refurbishing/repairing rabbit hole more times than I can remember only to not be able to find it again. There's slightly similar ones I've found but they don't compare to the masterpiece. From memory:
- Might've been part of a longer documentary but I want to say it was 21 minutes? Definitely less than a half hour.
- Not a commercial setup, dude lives alone (shocker!) and works out of his house.
- An unsettling number of silicone horrors dangling as previously described.
- Feeling very conflicted at the point where the dude talks about the damage he deals with from other people "abusing" their dolls. Without unpacking that whole suitcase of complexity I'll just say I left feeling a lot less hate for the obsessed dude that is clearly passionate and cares for them. While it's good to know it was happening to silicone instead of people, I'd rather not live in a world with monsters like that.

Believe me if I knew where to find it again I would have a local copy on my desktop to shitpost at-will.
You know I love you, fellow Kiwis.
I wouldn't watch this again for just anyone.
This should be cued to the the repair guy.
The whole doc is interesting.
Depressing but interesting.

I'm calling it now, it was smithers finally losing his shit after years of being forced to wear makeup to appear white and hiding the fact he was black in the early simpsons episodes. He took his malibu stacy doll collection and decided to 'start a conversation' by faking a hate crime

“We cannot state strongly enough that a noose is a reprehensible symbol of hate and violence and will not be tolerated in our district,” Geisick continued in the written statement.
Oh, thank goodness! I was worried that they might tolerate that in their district. Good news they will write all the strongly worded statements needed to prove that they don't. I would naturally assume that they did otherwise.

Speaking of dolls.

I find it interesting at my local CVS.

That there was like a shitload of black Santa dolls and one white Santa doll for sale.

*There was a fascinating video on a guy whose passion was restoring/refurbishing these things. Just imagine some dude that looks exactly how you think, wheeling an engine crane around his shop/house with what looks like a half-mummified thot dangling off the front. It's almost worth looking again, even knowing how horrifying that whole rabbit hole is. I cannot decide if he is better/worse than a run-of-the-mill enthusiast.

You cant just tease us like this and not post the video
I believe that the documentary in question is Guys and Dolls:

A better copy under the name of Love Me, Love My Doll

A "Heinous Discovery in Wealthy Bay Area Town"...and it's another lame hate crime hoax where nobody's hurt?

Look, I know it's clickbait but only use the words "heinous discovery" if it involves human or animal remains.
