Washington and Oregon have long been infested with California transplants. New Hampshire and Maine are fucked because Massachusetts is New England's California so everyone goes to Maine and New Hampshire because everything is too expensive in Massachusetts if you don't want to live like Moviebob or reside in the diversified parts of the state. I think Vermont's always been fucked with hippies since Woodstock, they just added some New Yorkers to go along with their Masshole problem. The native population of these states has long fled to Florida or just dealt with living under communist occupation.

And in 1986 Congress passed the Anti-Drug Abuse Law with the 100-1 sentencing disparity between crack cocaine and powder cocaine at a time when 80% of crack smokers were black. Maybe you could say that these things aren't racist -- they were a reasonable, colorblind response to a drug epidemic -- but I'm not of that opinion.

If that was his original intent, to try and trigger bot swarms, I'd say his goal is being accomplished. But he probably should have also figured out a way to make it US only poll before launching it. You can't build a perfect society, or even a decent society, when power is seized from the barrel of a gun and the foundations are laid on a massive, orchestrated crime that, for the legitimacy of the State, you have to pretend didn't happen and isn't still happening. In some ways it's a shame that National Socialism in Germany didn't outlast the end of World War 2. Everything the Nazis worked for came from the barrel of a gun, and the massive and barely even denied crime of the Holocaust and the other genocides in the East would have torn their society apart quicker than Communism collapsed. Their only hope would have been to go in the same direction the Soviets went in, especially under Stalin: draconian controls. It never really worked in the USSR, and it wouldn't have worked in Germany. For one thing, there were too many Germans who served in the Eastern Front and saw for themselves what was going on. Germany had a long long history of free speech. The Nazi attempt to control speech was the aberration. And when it all collapsed, nazi-ism would have been finished for all time as a social/political system of thought. The Soviets, by contrast, had a much easier time because speech was never free in Russia, and the notion of a 'free citizen' didn't really exist. A few generations before the Soviets seized power, they were mostly serfs tied to the land.

And even with the massive social and economic inequities of Tsarist Russia, it still took a massive war, a massive civil war, mass starvation, the annihilation of the ruling class, the collectivization of agricultural land and the subsequent aforementioned mass starvation, and a brutalized population of industrial workers and helpless, hopeless, starving veterans reeling from that aforementioned massive war, and helpless, hopeless starving serfs to bring about the USSR.

Ever wonder why the Leninist faction removed from power all non-Bolshevik members of the Congress of Soviets, and annulled the election results from the election for the announced, new Constituent Assembly to govern Post-Tsarist Russia? It's because they lost, and didn't come close to winning a majority or even close to a plurality of seats despite tactics like refusing to seat a bunch of elected delegates on completely spurious grounds and massive (if sporadic and limited to already heavily Bolshevik areas) vote fraud. They won 175 seats out of the 715 seats. And on the only day that body met, they immediately started rolling back Lenin's program. Their seating was delayed until Lenin created the Chekists, by unilateral decree, and began his war on private property by nationalizing all private wealth, nationalizing the banks, authorizing the expropriation of bank accounts, authorizing the seizure off all Orthodox and other religious funds and property, limited freedom of speech for the press, and authorizing the seizure of land. All, again, by unilateral decree.

The only day that the new Constituent Assembly met, they started making noises about rolling back this absurd power grab. And that was the end of the new Constituent Assembly. Even a bunch of the Bolshevik delegates argued that Lenin had gone much too far, not that he cared. He had secret police, an armed cadre, and the power to destroy anyone he chose. He didn't have to care. He just locked the meeting hall doors overnight, and placed armed guards at the entrances to tell the returning delegates to fuck off. How many of those non-Bolshie delegates survived the next ten years? How many of them avoided arrest? Not many, only the ones that threw in their lot with the bunch with the guns, the money, and the will to power to see their program through, seeking their own personal survival and power by endeavoring to make themselves useful, which sometimes worked for a little while, and the smarter bunch who fled.

I write this little history lesson because liberals don't actually know history and they don't think that the lessons history has to teach actually matter, because their motives are pure and their hearts are strong, and anyone that disagrees can be disregarded, ignored, disenfranchised, impoverished, and eventually eliminated. But they never think that it'll happen the way it always turns out happening.

This time it'll work. This time, they'll have their utopia.

They just think that this time, they'll play the role of the Bolsheviks, ride the chaos into power, and be the privileged class at the top directing the war on private citizens and gorging on the trough of confiscated private property and a nation's wealth. Stalin (maybe) said that "Gratitude is an illness suffered by dogs", at least his personal secretary claimed so in his memoirs. No one can claim that he didn't do his very best to live up to it.

The last time America got anywhere close to a mass collapse was during the very worst of the Great Depression, and back then we had a mostly unified culture with still-active traditions of respect for elected leaders, obeying laws, worshipping God, and private and public charity, and pulling together to share resources and hardships in a common effort. All things that have been torn down systematically for decades upon decades and replaced with solipsism, and massive government largesse -not in response to emergencies or disasters, but simply made widely available and definitely pushed on our population-. Ugh, that's all, like, so uncool maaaan. I gotta be me, and America was never great anyway, and Communism would fix this and make me better looking and smarter and issue me a girlfriend and probably buy me a pony and would definitely let me molest kids and go to all the gay orgies I want and sterilize my children.
