US Five people killed and at least 18 injured in mass shooting at a gay nightclub in Colorado

Five people were killed Saturday night at a gay nightclub in Colorado Springs, Colorado, police announced. Another 18 people were injured in the mass shooting at Club Q.

“They did locate one individual who we believe to be the suspect inside,” said Colorado Springs Police Lt. Pamela Castro. “At this point in time, the suspect is being treated, but is in custody.

Castro did not clarify whether the suspect was included in the count of people who were injured in the shooting.

Police declined to speak about a possible motive. Colorado Springs Fire Capt. Mike Smaldino said 11 ambulances responded to the scene after multiple 911 calls were received.

“We will be here for many, many hours to come,” said Castro.

In a statement on social media, Club Q said it was “devastated by the senseless attack on our community” and offered condolences to victims and their families.

“We thank the quick reactions of heroic customers that subdued the gunman and ended this hate attack,” the statement said.

This is a developing story and will be updated.

I'll never understand this weird push to shove this shit on children though.
Never say never

Before the last year or so, two terms you wouldn't have expected to encounter together are "drag queen" and "early childhood education," but we're now about three years into a full-fledged Communist revolution in the Western world, which has made it not only commonplace but shoved all in our faces. Here we are in the midst of June, "Pride Month," 2022, and the Leftist collision of drag queens and young children has been center-stage all month long, including in schools. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the idea of using drag queens, or specifically a program called Drag Queen Story Hour, as an intentional educational methodology in schools isn't just some fringe activist project but also appears in the scholarly education literature. In this unbelievable episode of the New Discourses Podcast, host James Lindsay reads through an academic paper, "Drag pedagogy: The playful practice of queer imagination in early childhood" (https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/..., in the journal Curriculum Inquiry. In light of this paper, it is virtually undeniable: what we're dealing with in schools is Marxism, specifically Queer Marxism here, and it has turned our schools into Groomer Schools.

Gay club is shot up ( guessing most of the victims will be gay men )

Troons most affected

Pulse happened 7 years ago before troons had infested everything. The discourse will ultimately now be a 100% around trannies, even though to this day gay men have the highest numbers of violent crimes committed against them.

To keep it real, never really bothered me, they had their little niche existence and didn't really bother anybody. Think like Jon Watters films, total freaks of nature but they kept to themselves. I'll never understand this weird push to shove this shit on children though. There is absolutely nothing child friendly and wholesome about drag culture. Keep it in the gay bars ya fags.
Conspiracy theorists might think then TPTB are behind the push that shit on kids.
The reviews make this place sound putrid, if anything comes from this hopefully its the club staying shut down god damn.
It's so tempting to said "how convenient" then that mass shooting happen at one of the worst place.

This is awful and clearly the fault of Nazi gop rhetoric against the lgbt community and terrorist attacks against drag queen story hour and peacefully teaching children how to be gay and trans! This is uncalled for we need to to declare the gop as a terrorist organization! Love is love not hate!

Anyway get use to that message for the next few weeks regardless of whatever comes out of the investigation

How is this even possible? He was a felon yet he had a firearm? This must've been the work of those dang dirty gun show loopholes.

In all seriousness, I couldn't give less of a shit about Mexican sodomites getting ventilated, but the news cycle is going to be annoying for a while.
Given that the bomb threat took place in June 2021, it's possible he hasn't been convicted yet and legally obtained the gun used in the shooting prior to the bomb threat. WaPo reports:
It was also unclear whether any petitions had been filed against Aldrich preventing him from possessing a firearm. Colorado’s 2019 “red flag” law gives local judges the authority to order the confiscation of firearms from individuals with a history of mental illness or violence."
ETA: Also, given the facts the shooter was injured, two guns were found on the scene despite reports saying the shooter used a long rifle, and two people "heroically" subdued the shooter, you guys think one of those fags was packing?
ETA2: probably not:
“At least two heroic people inside the club confronted and fought with the suspect and were able to stop the suspect from continuing to kill and harm others. We owe them a great debt of thanks,” said Colorado Springs Police Chief Adrian Vasquez.
