Money Barb Sued by Discover Bank

I sometimes wonder if Barb enjoys wounding Chris more than anything. Or at least having something subservient to her and torturing it.
I'm pretty sure it's the latter. Her Royal Highness Queen Barbara Anne of House Weston needs her retinue of handmaidens and, well, she's got Chris.

I might be wildly optimistic here but I don't think she has any concept of the damage she's done to Chris over the past thirty-odd years...

Well, it makes sense Barb would want to sell some of Chris' things to pay her huge debts because she would never want to sell anything from her own horde.

I can imagine Chris whinning over the internet about how his mom sold his HDTV under the threat of kicking him out of the house if he refused to, and so he would start e-begging for a new super huge turbo mega deluxe HDTV 2000 to replace what he lost.

Chris would chimp out after the initial telling off and that would be the end of that.
I don't really see that happening. Chris is generally pretty cowardly in person.

Chris is intellectually and physically capable of doing a lot of entry level jobs. If he ever gets it into his head that having a job something he needs to have, he can probably get one. It doesn't seem to be that close to happening, although I would say that with his online business he has realized that a) sometimes the tugboat doesn't give him as much money as he would like and b) there is something he could do about it. It seems conceivable that line of thinking could evolve within the next few years towards a concerted effort to get a job. I am not putting money on it, but I wouldn't rule it out. He does seem to feel entitled to lots of money without working, but he isn't going to get any more than the tugboat, so that feeling can't stand. The internet business is proof that his sense of entitlement can be broken.

Would he fuck up? Probably, but probably not as badly as people here portray it. The most likely issues are shirking and bothering the customers. I think he needs black and white rules. If you say to him "be friendly to the customers, but don't bring up trolls/Sonichu/lesbians" he probably can't handle that. But if you say "The only things you should ever say to a customer are polite answers to direct questions", he might be able to. In the end, I think he would iterate towards being able to function at low-end jobs. He might learn a few lessons, he might get fired a couple times, his supervisors might have to figure out a few tricks of Chris-wrangling, but I think it would be ok in the end.

Most managers are just minimum-wage schlubs who are entrusted to be overseers to the other minimum wage schlubs. I doubt that they are going to take the restraint or patience in order to babysit some obnoxious trantard and keep it from burning the place down due to stupidity.

Regarding Chris getting a job, I realized out we had been forgetting a very important detail.

Chris is getting OLD.

So between hiring a 20 year old retard and a finicky 34 year old retard w/o any real job experience, any employer would pick the youngest of them.

So basically, Chris' decade of livin la vida loca at home playing games and freaking out on the internet is going to bite him hard.
