He owns it you dumb fucking nigger. He could literally burn the site down to the ground if he wanted to. The collateral for his financing is on his Tesla stock, not even the website itself, so he owns it outright more than most people own their own house.

I think it's more so they play both sides, the powerful ones at least. For every soros, you have a sheldon adelson. Most folks understand this though.

Back on topic I think musk is very serious about keeping jones off, but i think it's a lot more a liability issue than a moral one.

About $13B of the financing is equity investment from banks and private lenders. Saudi prince Alaweed bin whatever owns about $2B of it. Equity investment means investors purchase company shares so expect a return on the investment. He didn't fund all of it borrowing against Tesla stock, if he could have done that he wouldn't have needed equity investors. Breakdown is something like $20B cash from Musk, $7B in plain bank loans, $6B subordinated debt, $7B private equity from investors like Jack Dorsey and prince Alaweed, and $6B or so in loans secured against 10x that amount in Tesla stock.

Because the equity investors own Twitter shares, if Musk burns the company to the ground, the shares are worthless and their investment is burned to the ground too. The banks get their money out ahead of them in a bankruptcy. Elon is cash poor and probably doesn't have enough cash right now to buy a Happy Meal. He CAN burn it to the ground, but those investors won't be happy if he does.

Depends on whether the mosaic was just for the teaser or was going to be on the real video too. When they do it for a real video, it's normally a backlit shadow of a person and a voice changer.

No, they won't be shored up by conservatives joining. But those numbers will be shored up by people returning.

There's no singular, easy to migrate to Twitter replacement. Everyone is going everywhere. Instagram, Tumblr, etc. Mastodon seems to be the biggest benefactor, isn't really getting much traffic and is already causing people massive frustrations with how to use the damn thing as well as already being mired deep in lefty infighting and purges. The default "journalist" sub is currently under fire for using some type of middleware that KiwiFarms uses, so Mastodon are being accused of being transphobic.

While decentralizing out of big massive communities like Twitter and Reddit is good in the long run, this ain't it. All these people will be back.

Kathy Griffin hacked into her dead mom's Twitter account to get around a ban. These people are desperate for attention.
