The outcome I’m expecting from this is lgbt whatever the fuck we’re at now are going to be all over this story like flies on shit, celebrities will come out of the wet work with black and white screens and say take responsibility, straights will be raked over the coals for no fucking reason, and pride month will probably be extended for more than a month.

Did I mention gun control? There will be a lot more of it.

That's been pretty constant for the last few years in liberal states as they keep trying to pass unconstitutional gun laws (see: Oregon, Washington, California, New York, etc..).

They're trying the old "if we say it enough, people including courts will by default believe it's true" method of trying to create a causality between general gun ownership and violent crime even though no causal relationship (or really even correlative relationship) exists. And other bullshit like setting arbitrary bullet capacity magazine restrictions and trying to claim it will somehow hinder mass shooters and not affect anyone else at all (it won't and it will, since mass shooters will be carrying many mags and ignoring magazine restrictions, while people who carry for defense tend to not carry more than maybe 1 extra mag, if any at all).

Raising it just during election season wasn't working for them.
