If you're Christian, you'll believe Jesus died in agonizing pain on the cross and did so to bring humanity everlasting salvation.
By contrast, Wu has never known real pain but is pretending to go through the same for money and pity, and the only way you can believe that is if you believe in utter bullshit (at least Christianity has some historical basis behind it even if you don't believe in it).
