US Five people killed and at least 18 injured in mass shooting at a gay nightclub in Colorado


Five people were killed Saturday night at a gay nightclub in Colorado Springs, Colorado, police announced. Another 18 people were injured in the mass shooting at Club Q.

“They did locate one individual who we believe to be the suspect inside,” said Colorado Springs Police Lt. Pamela Castro. “At this point in time, the suspect is being treated, but is in custody.

Castro did not clarify whether the suspect was included in the count of people who were injured in the shooting.

Police declined to speak about a possible motive. Colorado Springs Fire Capt. Mike Smaldino said 11 ambulances responded to the scene after multiple 911 calls were received.

“We will be here for many, many hours to come,” said Castro.

In a statement on social media, Club Q said it was “devastated by the senseless attack on our community” and offered condolences to victims and their families.

“We thank the quick reactions of heroic customers that subdued the gunman and ended this hate attack,” the statement said.

Everyone has said what has needed to be said, but I really can't find myself caring about dead homosexuals and trannies. I really envy you guys for being able to look into this so deeply.

Full agree. I have no womanly feelings or sympathy for these vile people who threaten domesticated, moral society with their degenerative values. For once, a shooter chose the correct venue. I will not be party to the same thinking that allowed homosexuals to rise in power in the first place. I'm not going to celebrate their deaths, but i'm going to sleep well tonight knowing there are less perverts preying upon women and children in the world.

Curious that journoscum are focusing on the grandfather's failed political campaign yet we know nothing about the gunman's political views or his mother's. Also we don't if the grandfather was main male figure in the gunman's life since Dad doesn't seem to be in the picture.
