Wait what? Elon hired George Hotz as an intern?

For those who don’t know, George Hotz has a very solid resume in tech and is somewhat of a competitor to Elon having founded the self driving car startup Comma.ai. IIRC he first made a name for himself by being the first person to jailbreak an iPhone. He is a pretty radical outside thinker and has some serious technical skill.

Check out some of his Adderall-fueled streams like the one below and you’ll see he’s a wizard on a keyboard. I have faith that he can get shit done in 12 weeks.

This has potential to be a bit of an arc. George has already, on day one, downgraded his goal to “getting rid of that pop up”, and is trying to outsource “fixing search” to anyone else who will do it for free.
The fact that he live-tweets everything could be hilarious if this doesn’t all turn out to be as easy as he thinks.

They have no idea, this man went terminator mode when the shortsellers and journoswine tried to bury Tesla before they could get the Model 3 to mass production in 2017/2018. They had websites dedicated to slandering his business (TESLA Q), and do anything to drop their share price. He just powered through it. They've made a very bad mistake. I'm looking forward to him going John Matrix on their stupid asses going forward. This is going to be great to watch. I need to stock up on popcorn.

I use Signal as the least bad option for an instant messenger for real life friends. I know it's not safe from law enforcement really though.

Perhaps that is our heading and we just aren't there yet, but I believe it's important to remain cognizant that this and many worse crimes remain unanswered for, and the need for a civilizational course correction towards a future where our potential is not squandered and this justice is not denied to us through the continued deliberate mismanagement of wealth and power.

That is to say, enjoy playing up the pretense of victory if you'd like, but by no means be satisfied by it.

I followed that account. All it did was screencap public Reddit posts, without much comment or commentary. No calls to violence, or even sarcastic jokes from what I recall. Absolutely no doxing.

Just post after post of sceenshots of dudes in dresses squeeing about their newly emergent periods and complaining how "cis-" women don't accept them or whatever, all very much in their own words. Very curious definition of "violence," I would suggest.
