Jesus Christ, his transition from edgy comedy to full blown wokescold has gone about as well as Chris Chan's transition from male to female. Maybe his retarded 12 year old fans buy it, but I'd like to think everyone with 2 brain cells can see he's just a hateful, jealous, holier than though prick picking his targets according to what's socially acceptable at the time. The problem is that, like many before and after him, he was given fame when he really never deserved it. He caught the wave of a trend and thats really it. He never truly "earned" this fame. And him winning the court case for "free speech" stroked his ego in ways that I dont think people truly understand. At that moment, he legit believed he was "The voice of a generation". He could do no wrong.

Thing is, once his fanbase of children grew up and he changed his style to satisfy the ones holding his leash...he lost his appeal. He is not the voice but just A voice among many preaching to the choir.

Imagine being a fan of a youtuber so bad, that you actually apply to be an editor or soundboard guy for his videos. You get accepted, you move to L.A. and have what you think is a dream job; a living wage in entertainment, in a fun, freestyle youtube series.

But then the reality sets in. The guy you liked isn't actually funny anymore. Wait, was he ever actually funny to begin with? He used to get all these cool guests, but he doesn't have guests anymore. I'm not getting to meet anyone cool or design bits or sketches with anyone. He's the perfect loremaster and either has access to all the best media, can get it, or is in-the-loop on its disposition.
