It amazes me how inept 'journalists' like Collins and Lorenz are.

It's clear as day Collins' contempt for Greenwald comes from a place of utter jealousy. Greenwald is a highly regarded, award winning investigative journalist who has exposed overreaching governments, spying scandals and abuses of power. He does all the things that a good independent media is meant to do: hold people and institutions to account.

Benny on the other hand... he can't hold a candle to Glenn, and he knows it all too well. He has an agenda and has been rumbled for an ethical breach if he's paying a source. His "I'm totally not upset, guiz" diatribe on twatter when GG called him out was telling.

I'd like to think that he'd face an internal investigation from his employer to get to the bottom of this, but i don't hold up much hope. Also, why would a a real journalist - as Ben claims to be - block another journalist, especially one whose beat overlaps with his own? Surely that's counterproductive, even if you don't like him, surely he's breaking news that's relevant to him?

This all goes back to the beginning of this Lucas media circus from the summer. It was all so well stage managed.

The "my life is at risk" story, the media pack, the briefings to the likes of Collins and Lorenz (who basically reported Lucas' BS verbatim without any professional scepticism). Then No Dong-Fong in the background, calling favours with ISPs, DDoS attacks.

I really do think the 'story behind the story' is much more interesting, and scary, than the events that were reported at the time. Collins and Lorenz acted in bad faith. Lucas lied and lied his way to $100k and Liz Fong-Jones / Elliot William Fong broke the law coordinating DDoS attacks, and a rapist too.

Collins has skin in the game and - as @AnOminous said in the LFJ thread - Collins only put his head above the parapet when he had his 'kill shot' lined up for the Farms. He failed. He backed the wrong horse and now he has a fat drug addled eunuch inadvertently(?) dropping him in shit, and it's glorious.

I hold up some hope that all these bad actors get caught out for their actions. With the troon-shield now down on twitter the tide is turning against these people.

The only thing that "journalists" like Collins and Lorenz care about is their own self-aggrandizement. Which is why they are bad at their jobs. Collins will quietly dump Lucas, now that he's not helping Collins' popularity anymore.

Since he fucked off back to Ireland I haven't seen or heard a peep from him, which leads me to believe he's got accounts we don't know of and he is tooling along as always.

Edit to add that he was seen a bit in his discord but nothing on twatter.

As far as I'm aware he's in the UK with EFNO right now. Perhaps it's a stalling tactic so he doesn't need to comment on it, or he could be preparing his own lolsuit. In which case whatever is left of his $100K will literally be better used as fire starter
