I agree she was being sarcastic, but she often throws us a curveball by saying something sarcastically that is actually true. Like, a couple of years ago, she'd say in a sarcastic tone, "It's hard to go up stairs when you weight 400 pounds" hyuk hyuk. The implication is that we are so stupid for throwing a number like 400 pounds around. Then, a day later she weighed herself and it said 397. Guess the joke was on us, 400 was only a sarcastic number.
One thing is for sure: she didn't say $600 in order to laugh at us because she really made $10K. If she made $10K, she'd tell us she made $20K.
So, how much do we realistically expect her to have made? This latest payday reflects her antics through October 1. In September, she had almost no video or livestream reach 20K views, and most struggled to top 15K in views. Of her uploads in September, she wound up deleting or privatizing about a third of them. This is before she deleted or privatized over 1000 uploads in October.
I suspect her total income was a lot closer to $600 than it was to $10K this month. Was it $2K? $1.5K? $2.5K? $1.2K? $1.8K? We'll never know, but one of those numbers is a lot more likely than her boasts of $10K, $12K, $20K, and $50K (yes, she once claimed, with a straight face, that she made $50K a month). Except for the most manic phase of the Nader era, she was most likely making $5K-$6K a month, maybe $7K when the superchats were good. Is it possible that she managed to deprive herself of 90% of her income with her monkeyshines of the past few months? Maybe not, but she did lose an awful lot.
I do not expect her to contribute to the rent and utilities of the villa this month; I think doing so would literally clean her out. Peetz may dimly realize this, which is why he is taking the too-little-too-late step of setting up memberships (at 99 cents; he's such a dummy)
Next month will be substantially worse, because it will reflect the 75% of her old videos that she has now memory-holed. Not to mention, her couples videos are now struggling to even top 10K views. If she were a smaller YouTube channel with about 10K subscribers and about 10K in daily views, there'd be no way anyone would estimate her income at $5K or more. And she has effectively turned herself into a smaller channel.
She gets sarcastic in order to deflect criticism or humiliation, and it stands to reason she is doing it now too. I do think she was shocked when she saw her monthly income this month.
