The values of perpetual overseas intervention, industrial outsourcing, and complete surrender on all domestic governance and social issues to the Democrats. Those are the only kind of conservative values you're allowed to have and campaign for, which will appeal to virtually no one except for a few select groups, and you'll still get called a racist misogynist homophobic bigoted Nazi that wants to genocide minorities for it.

While that's an easy out, as Ace of Spades pointed out yesterday Biden and the DC establishment really don't want to support the anti-COVID lockdown protests in China because ultimately, they don't see anything actually wrong with China's lockdown policies and would love to be able to do the same here.

Honestly, after these last two elections I'm considering voting D down ballot out of pure spite from now on. Maybe turning the Uniparty into a literal Uniparty would finally be the straw that breaks the camel's back, or worse case nothing would fucking change.

I mean it's not like getting Republicans in power does shit for me anyway. Might as well stir the pot for the lols.

IMO. He doesn't come across as a liar or mastermind or anything really. The only thing he does project is a dude who stumbled into pants that were too big for him but his "can do spirit" made him hold his pants up the entire day. That isn't to say the folks under him are less a bafoon than he.

Hard to say. If one side has much more disenfranchisement than the other that would be the best motivator to spur change, but realistically both parties are struggling in that area. If a million R's and a million D's don't show up to vote, who cares? If a million R's vote D, that's going to scare the shit out of people.

Or maybe it won't change anything and the republicans will continue graciously losing until they're neck in neck with the libertarians. But if voting is that meaningless in the first place then, it literally doesn't matter.
