Alright. Here's a controversial topic.

41% jokes aside, I'm interested to know whether anybody else has encountered a troon on the Internet that they didn't take a instant and visceral disliking of, and maybe even saw some positive qualities in.

For me, it would probably be Rebecca "Burger Becky" Heineman. Co-founder of Interplay, and old school video game programmer. I found their video explaining how they had to hack the shit out the Super Nintendo in order to get Out of this World (Another World) running semi-smoothy on it very entertaining. They also managed to get it running on the Apple IIgs.

Also, there's this one concerning the trials of trying to get Doom on the 3DO.

Maybe it's because I come from that era of gaming, and they are sharing details only they would know, but I at least felt more knowledgeable about a topic that interests me after watching these. I feel like I have to give them props there.

I think @CrunkLord420 might appreciate their content, if he doesn't already know about it.

Anybody know of any others?

Maddie Blaustein, the original English voice for Meowth in the Pokemon anime. She gave the cat a great voice and seemed pretty level-headed. She died in 2008 so there's no telling what she'd be like in the current culture, but she was a decent person in the life she lived.

There really isnt a single one. Every single MtF I've ever personally talked to has been hostile and uncompromising. The kind of people you have to watch every single aspect of what exactly you say so they can't jump down your throat over a perceived slight. I wasn't even acting silly, they're just people that need to be handled with kid gloves, and can't be told they're wrong about anything.

I'd love to meet one that can be the first to not act like a rabid monster the second they realize I'm not going to worship the ground they walk on.

Though every FtM I've met has been cool.

Only one and they're dead.

You may know them as the Original Meowth from Pokemon., Yugioh's Grandfather , Arngrim and Lezard Valeth from the original Valkyire Profile game and that fucking E-something robot from Sonic the Hedgehog.

Irony, all of the voices you know Maddie Blaustien from are male.

Now every single MTF/FTM I know personally is a horrendous piece of shit. One of which , a former best friend who ruined his marriage, or saved it. Depends on how you view being an actual cuck. Him Trooning out was the only way he could escape raising the kids of 5 other dudes.

Nobody gonna mention Wendy Carlos?
Pre-Internet, and therefore I don't know how much of a social footprint they had for me or anyone to really judge.

But okay.

Tron had a great soundtrack. I'll grant that. Actually, the original Tron was a fantastic movie and WAY ahead of its time in general.

Also, he belongs to a way more innocent era of LGBT History, right in between Stonewall and AIDS.
Case in point, they transitioned in 1972, and kept it under wraps until 1979. Today? Idiots have to share their "transitioning blogs" or some shit.

It's very sad what was lost in 80's.
Modesty. We lost modesty. Actually, we starting losing that shit in the 60s, but it's gotten progressively worse since then.

Though every FtM I've met has been cool.
On the Internet? Any examples you'd like to share?

Babe you forgetting about me?

I'm pretty sure we learned that the government will let people die and laugh when they ask for help.

I don't want to be too specific but there's someone who is a big part of an actor fandom I'm in who is FtM, and is a very chill person. Very rarely if ever mentions that he's trans, never once has brought up politics. I 100% appreciate their role in that fandom because they bring people together in a very positive way.

I've met very few trans people IRL, but I've actually not disliked any of them- some of them were just kinda...odd.
For me it's been the people that are super into trans rights but not actually trans, or people with some elaborate gender identity that requires a spreadsheet that have been the most obnoxious IRL.

I thought you were just an effeminate dude. Well, congrats, you're the first one

IRL, actually. They're common in nerd circles. The two I've met were basically just short nerdy dudes with bad facial hair. One of 'em even had a boyfriend, and the boyfriend seemed like a fairly normal not-trainsmen guy.

Admittedly a personal one, but there's a small time Vtuber that I know personally who's actually pretty chill. We frequently hang out and shit talk leftist bullshit infecting games, and it's really interesting to get a trans view on that kinda shit that doesn't fall in line.

One thing she told me that stuck with me forever is 'the fastest way to tell a real trans apart from a transtrender is look at what they play in games. Y'see, a trans will play the gender they present as if possible, because they want to be that gender, and in a perfect, fantasy world, they would be, and thus, wouldn't be trans. A trender will pick their birth gender, because they just want the attention for being trans. No real trans person would wish being trans on anyone else, real or otherwise, because it fucking sucks.'

She also acknowledges it's a mental disorder, and it probably is the root of her other disorders, so, pretty based, IMO.

It really was eye-opening seeing a trans person be fucking normal, after all of my other encounters, IRL and online.

I have one friend-quaintance who is trans whom I don't hate. Granted I met him before he came out and I keep him at arms length now, and he's degenerate as fuck, but when we're just talking about Vidya or art he's fine, and has genuinely been a big help with art/drawing techniques.
I hate that the trans menace sunk it's claws into him and hate everything about trannyism, but I don't hate him.
He does know my apprehension towards trans shit but he seems to be enough of an adult to put our differences aside for more common ground (and I do the same by using female pronouns to his face). We haven't spoken in a while. Maybe I'll see what he's been up to.

So, like Iron Liz?

Come to think of it, I guess I would put Liz #2 on my list of online trans people who don't piss me off. They really delivered the milk on Linkara. Dished plenty of shit on TGWTG. Called into Null's show at least once. Doesn't seem completely full of themselves. Etc.
