I have a few.

1. TJ Kirk. My most embaressing. Was a edgy teenage atheist, thought he was a philosopher above all others. He's just a fat cooming faggot.

2. Tatsudoshi/some fag named knid? Used to genuinely be entertaining back during the multipurpose spam days, good interactions with a lot of other people, and Korn was my favorite low iq hero.

3. Spooney. A sad sack

There's a few youtubers I stopped watching after they trooned out, like Lead Head, Jim Sterling, and some kirby youtuber that I can't remember the name of.

I used to really like Critikals gaming content too, but I stopped watching him after he did a face reveal.

And who could forget Jim Sterling trooning out

TeamFourStar. This one falls in the 'I stopped being a faggot' catagory. Looking back, they were always shit, and just became more egotistcal about it.

Jesse Cox. While he was always a faggot, he at least was the good kind. Which is to say, the type of leftist that just wants everyone to get along, and shuts the fuck up about politics otherwise, so you could just enjoy the unique mix of fun and cringe. Now? Fuck me, you can't go one day without him sperging about some right wing bullshit or another.

Brentalfloss, See both above. While he was always a faggot, he was at least entertaining, and kept his mask on.

RoosterTeeth, though I think this one can be said for most of us.

JustSomeGuy, and it still breaks my heart that nigger faggot lost all credibility and likability.

And of course, obligatory Spoony.

All of these people I watched in my teen years.
  1. Ray William Johnson - back then was crazy popular but then retired and replaced with a normal guy then all was lost when a black women hosted.
  2. IDubbbz - was funny for saying Nigger alot but then Anisa would poison his principles
  3. H3H3 - funny skits but then became lazy with content for a podcast
  4. EDP445 - obvious reason
  5. Amazing Atheist - casually watched his videos but then got bored of politics
  6. Dcigs- a black guy who was viral on his black man angry at series during the early 2010's. fell off hard now and is desperately trying to relive his past glory days.

I forgot Baldo existed, what's he up to now? Was another I used to watch. It wasn't justsomeguy, but the name was close. He would do those Mac vs pc ads but with marvel and DC action figured.

You know, an autist. Good shit tho.

I remember seeing some of the Namek saga when they were releasing it but never followed much of what they did. The humor seemed pretty consistent with other mainstream YTers back then. Did something happen to them in recent years or is it the typical trooning out/TDS that most older groups suffered from?

Last I heard of him, after he made his admittedly fun Jackbox ripoff, was him coming back to music to make a 'celebrating Trumps loss' 'song', that was essentially him chimping out to music for 3 minutes.

Edit for @Mr. Povich , they just fell off really hard, got blasted by Toei too hard, stopped making DBZA, and instead of admitting the C&D hit them hard (cus that would mean admitting to lying about them *not* blatantly stealing it) said they were 'seeking to improve creatively', released some boring ass live action shit, then went back to DBZ almost immediately, where they've been bobbing ever since. Taka went on to be a femboy vtuber, and other than that, I don't really know. As the rest of my list shows, I don't really give a fuck about personal lives so long as it stays out of creators works.

Didn't one of the editors (the gay one) cause burnout or some shit? Ruined it for everyone else?

Ah, so creative stagnation and inability to admit defeat. What a shame. But at least it doesn’t sound like it was a sudden massive change like with Jim Sterling.

I only saw a bit of the early work so I’m not sure. But after hearing all that from Local Degenerate, I wouldn’t be surprised if that happened.

Most of the early youtubers were the most pathetic ones.

They were the ones desperately wanting to not find real jobs & just sitting on their asses at home & uploading videos on the internet. They struck gold when people found out this was a viable way to get money.
