Nexpo/YT Horror Channels - Do they all suck

His christcuckery is so much more bearable when he's talking more factually about these topics. This was actually watchable and somewhat enjoyable, unlike him being scared of meme-faced angels.
I still don't fully grasp as to why he's so revered here, but it just shows how low the bar for this type of content is. Everything that's not '10 Scary True Stories From Reddit' type vids, Night Mind's ego trips or Nexpo's self-inserts is like the second coming of Christ.

I think it is in large part how low the bar is. His easygoing cadence and listenable voice add a bit of extra spice to his otherwise mediocre content, making him a hell of a lot more fun to watch/listen to than tryhard faggots like Nexpo or insufferable "just in advance, I don't really believe this" iceberg content creators who are a dime a dozen.

I'm with autism and really enjoy TTS horror stories, if that's your cup of tea, check out midnight broadcast. New videos every day at midnight.
I really like midnight broadcast, the TTS is consistent and the BG music is a lot less intrusive than some other TTS and even actual reading channels. I like having his stuff on in the background, and he avoids the annoying horror reader pitfall of reading the "Man was creepy to me" reddit stories that seem to plague the rest of the genre.

I think he just seems sincere. I'm still gonna laugh at him if he cries over scripture again but a bit of sincerity is good.
That's on top of decent levels of research and analysis.

Yeah Wendi seems like the first genuine creator I’ve seen in awhile. I think it’s cool if he wants to cry over scripture or talk about his faith. Being religious isn’t inherently a red flag—being a hateful zealot is.

Because it's nice to listen to someone who actually has natural charisma and is clearly excited and interested in what they are talking about.

Even if I can find him cringey at times, he is very sincere which makes the cringe...somewhat endearing.

That's 20 minutes of my life I will never get back. What a boring, garbage video.

TUV is so unbearably stupid (at least in regards to his 'tech' skills) and unentertaining, and it's getting worse with each video.

Edit: at the end he mentions that he has been gone a month from YT because of 'mental health stuff' and his girlfriend 'saved' him.
We all know what this means in the long run, so keep the popcorn ready.

That's his gf's Instagram btw, if anyone cares & wants to check her out:

Not surprised he doesn’t make quality videos. Not sure why I watched him in the first place since he’s clearly looking for clout constantly and got big fast because of Charlie.

"Have a bit of an announcement for you all. Moving forward, I have decided that I will be occasionally taking on particularly darker video topics, though these specific videos will be Patreon-exclusive content in order to adhere to YouTube’s guidelines regarding mature subject matter on my main channel.

These will include in depth looks at more tragic moments within Japan’s pop culture history. I feel the exclusivity to Patreon to be valid, as these videos will take significant effort to research, translate material, and ultimately produce. Topics will include videos about the incidents surrounding Yukiko Okada, Hide, Yasuko Endo, Osamu Dazai, Akina Nakamori, Hana Kimura and Sayaka Kanda/Seiko Matsuda. Not in any particular order.

I know, with absolute certainty, that these topics are too much for YouTube. However, I do want to bring forth these topics at some point *strictly* to educate and spread awareness. The videos will be a tasteful and respectful; to the very best of my ability to do so. I feel these stories should be told in order for awareness and compassion for the issues presented in these topics to become more well known. I plan to have these on my Patreon throughout 2023; no exact dates are planned just yet. As for my standard YouTube content.

I still have 4 videos planned for my YouTube channel specifically in December. These still include the two musician deep dives, the big Akiba Tape update, and the next part of the DNS Iceberg. I have a TON of YouTube videos planned for 2023 as well! A whole document of planned video topics, actually. My main hub for my content will remain as YouTube. Patreon will just have little perk videos every now and then that are too spicy for YouTube.

The uncensored cut of this next iceberg part will also be on my Patreon following the YouTube release. I sincerely hope you look forward to my future content. I plan to have an abundance of it coming your way regardless of if you choose to check out my Patreon or not. That is entirely your choice and I appreciate you all regardless! Thanks for reading and Happy Holidays!"

She has offically become the new "Internet Investigator" by paywalling her content behied "Pay-Me-Tron"! *sigh* It's sad because she had a lot going for her too.

Accidentally clicked on a video from that channel one time, and holy shit her voice was grating. I had to nope out after only 10 seconds. The whole "female narrators are sandpaper for the ears" thing is real.

Night Mind is good if you’re already really into whatever he’s talking about. His videos on House of Leaves were brilliant, but I say that on the basis I already love that book. I get how it would be boring if you didn’t go in with a level of interest to begin with. I’m not really interested in ARG’s so a lot of his content passes me by.

I like that she thinks crime in Japan is some revolutionary YouTube topic no one is covering… Except Dire Trip is, doesn’t censor or pay-wall his main content and makes way better videos. She’s about to lose a lot of engagement lmao

I don't know where she thinks she's gonna go with paywalling this shit. Lazy Masquerade and Tara A. Devlin cover this shit too, and they don't lock themselves behind a pay wall either. That and they aren't quite so grating on me as this one is.

New Disturban and a horrific tale about a young woman getting raped and murdered, only for the judge and jury to give preferential treatment to the animals who committed the crime.

I'll take the stickers if need be but this one actively made me angry. I don't want to go scorched social justice warrior but I fucking hate it when the court system goes tits up for bullshit or greedy reasons.

And to top it all off, the family left behind has to hear about how the death penalty will affect the culprits' loves ones as if they hadn't just raped, tortured, murdered and dismembered some poor girl.

What in the fuck?

It seems the family’s out reach to try and change laws has worked. That retard who tried to kill people during the Christmas parade had to sit through every victim impact statement which is what any murderer deserves to have happen to them.

Her last batch of videos have been awful - icebergs, pretending that a doll is haunting Japanese TV, and X Japan being "evil" for some reason. She's actually getting a decent amount of pushback in the comments on her community page, which is interesting - Internet Investigator's was a hugbox. Bad timing, too - I can see a lot of Patreons losing subs next year if there's economic issues.

Also lol:
