Retailers aren't open on Thanksgiving. It's really only emergency services and healthcare.

When I worked at Target, the managers made a big effort to get everyone out of the store before 12am Thanksgiving because they could get in a shit ton of trouble if anyone was working.

Working in nursing, coworkers switched holidays between each other. So one half of the staff would work Thanksgiving, the other half would work Christmas. I took both because bonus pay. Makin bank, nigga.

Expect for Dollar General, Family Dollar, Kroger, Whole Foods Market, Walgreens, Old Navy, The Fresh Market, Big Lots...everything else is closed on Thanksgiving.
I mean other than Harris Teeter, CVS, Best Buy, Walmart and Starbucks. But what kind of loser would be working at those places when Target is giving out handjobs.
