He keeps making a point out of radical and sort of "final" statements and depictions of everything that exists.
Now I don't know if it's a sort of therapy for him. But I really don't think that's how you cure cancer.

I get a strong vibe of a person so afraid and hateful of everything that it coaxed burying into a construct persona that nobody should ever take seriously (especially when he himself nonchalantly regards himself as "not exactly a genuine person" somewhere at some point, quote most likely imprecise) - full of self-taught, studied to the brim, dogmatised and purposefully cynical response templates.
Onision does not love himself very much.
But even less so, humans that he interacts with.
From that video where he lectures a suicidal girl about her irrevocable agency toward every thought and impulse she has, that's a control trip. Somebody has shown him a weakness, and he exploited it to make them feel guilty and hopeless, despite all the markings of a "life coach advice". This is a type that thrives on everyone else's assumption he's capable of doing it to anybody which makes them "not anger the pharaoh", with "valiant" quips here or there in the comments sections. He's so afraid of any challenging mind, he will lash out in the most unintelligible ways to show how many fucks he does not give.
Lord of the Flies.
Well deserved place in the kiwifarms.

Onision's been around for a long time. I only got into him a little while ago but he's possibly one of the biggest douches in the atheist community by far. I've been told stories about some of the crazy shit he's done. His coffee tweets speak of unbelievable arrogance. I'm glad you decided to check out this thread.

Having been listening to Hamilton recently, could anyone else see Onion singing King George's song, "You'll Be Back?" It's supposed to be about the secession of the US from Britain, but it's an excellent creepy boyfriend song as well. "I will send a fully-armed battalion to remind you of my love!"

I had the same reaction upon finding this out. Honestly much of this stuff just sounds like something out of Heaven's Gate, and the fact he displays a lot of the tendencies of a cult leader makes me worry.

He shuns anyone with a dissenting opinion and decries his critics as crazy obsessive bastards who have a personal vendetta with him. Not to mention he can get his fans to rabidly attack his detractors with the snap of his fingers. Someguy827 has talked a lot about how often he would get death threats from his fans. DEATH THREATS.
