He went into hiatus after ranting that his fans treated him like a kid, you know, the kind where they go "ooh, poor baby" to the point that they bothered other streamers
I am not the biggest Axia fan so I don't know the details, but he did have an issue with his fans. His fans saw him as an "uwu cute anime catboy" so they would treat him like a child. They would go to people he was collabing with and tell them to treat him carefully and sometimes his fans would threaten people. I think it got so far that some people straight up did not want to touch him with a 12-foot pole because they didn't want to deal with his fans. I think the tipping point was when his fans started harassing Honma Himawari because they thought the two were dating.
I remember when she had less than ~<4k. She was shilled here 5 days after her debut and I've been watching ever since.

now for a harmless bit of tinfoil I saw this floating around of this being apparently having been leaked days ago (though I cannot confirm that and I don't plan to dig into /vt/ archive to actually check but if anyone else wants to feel free but it could be fun to speculate from.
