Off topic but I had a friend whose father had dementia and she ended up renting porn for him to watch by himself in the home he was staying at. It's both hilarious and sad. She didn't feel bad about it at all, she would crack up at some of the titles of the ones that he liked the most or when he would complain that one had "too much anal".

Caenis explicitly wants to be a man just so she won't be raped again. The essay itself points out that the story can be classed with others in the Metamorphoses of women like Daphne, Syrinx, Arethusa, etc. shucking their female bodies to escape male sexuality. I can't believe they're using this particular tale as trans propaganda when it affirms about TIFs what TERFs have been saying for decades and makes it seem like an Ancient Roman had Aidens pegged two millennia ago (because he did.)

Of course, Caenis and Iphis are obviously not 'transgender' because they both actually become men with XY chromosomes and male gametes and everything, just like how the prophet Tiresias actually does temporarily become an actual female, because the stories take place in an enchanted, mythic universe where people also get changed into animals, plants, and geographical features. Caenis later becomes a bird. This has nothing to do with a bunch of present-day neurotics destroying their urinogenital and endocrine systems except shedding light on why they do it.

The closest trans parallel is the primordial god Uranus. He doesn't, however, become a woman just because his son, Cronus, cuts his junk off. He just becomes a male god with no junk.

Obviously posting on my throwaway account. I’ve had the 3 piece pump for nearly 3 months now and I haven’t been able to lock it (squeeze the saline bulb so the saline doesn’t come back into the dick once deflated) for a week. Now I’m having problems even deflating it.

These people are replacing their functional reproductive anatomy with pumps and flesh quilts and scar tissue in their 20s and 30s. Would the ethics panel choose to have them held down and have them be forcefully dilated every day— or, would they have them have another surgery to close it up and prevent infection. Mind you, probably 60+, also likely forced since no consent either. Not to mention other surgical complications or death rates at that age.
