Somewhere around 2016 and Vaush started to pop up TJ started to become more and more of a woketard. He had fully fallen off the deep end by at most 2020 when he was Bernie Bro-ing it up.

2017 was really a bad year for TJ. All the drama from DP was really starting to effect him mentally before the end of 2016, and it only got worse as 2017 went on. On top of that the changing political environment, his steady waning popularity and him losing his main revenue stream didn't help either. I think he was always expecting for either his fanbase to save him or some other third-party to come along and fix all his problems, but it never happened.

TJ at the end of the day just hates everyone now because he no longer has the life he once had. He wants everyone else to suffer because he lost what he wanted in life and now others have it while he languishes as a relic of a different era of YouTube.

If there is one thing I can say I have learned from e-celebs like TJ or Brett Keane, it is that sometimes it is better to never achieve any form of fame or success rather than achieve it and lose it. Because when that happens, you'll go down a path of bitterness, vindictiveness and constantly chasing what it is you lost.

Or, you know, realize that your e-celebrity status is temporary and will one day fade. So you make sure to use the large amounts of money you make to invest in your future: buy a house, work on building an external source of revenue outside of Youtube, do literally anything with your money except spend it all on takeout and weed.

You know, for all of Sargon's failings he at least managed to get that part right. He's an irrelevant former e-celeb who now just rants impudently on Twitter. But who cares? He used the money he made in the past to start a family and at the very least seems to have things together. That is something TJ could never accomplish, which is why he continues to flounder and desperately grasp for any bit of cash he can grift. If he had invested in his future while he was making money, he could still be espousing his genuine opinions and make a small amount off a much smaller but more dedicated audience that has stuck around for over a decade. And that would be fine because he's already set himself up and can live off that reduced income comfortably.
