A good Rosemi concept, roll dice to make her dinner for 3 sandwiches, each one getting worse, last one was really just nasty (tuna, sprouts, okonomiyaki sauce w/ maple syrup w/ sricha mayo)

Just noting the shitshow that was the vShojo debut.

The debut was delayed almost an hour due to technical difficulties. Not too bad because we got all the girls interacting which is always a blast.

Unfortunately with 7 minutes to go, Melody decided to literally get up and leave to go to a 7/11 (she's in Japan), she did not come back for 15 minutes.

She never raided the main vshojo channel which went on to raid Haruka, so there's 4k people (or bots) just sat in melody's silent stream.

The Haruka stream was then a silent BRB screen for ages as 20k people waited for melody to get back I guess, or Haruka was having issues, it was very delayed after all. Eventually giving up and beginning the debut video without melody's raid which came about 5 minutes later.

The Haruka stream went on to be very good though, I don't watch her much, the lore was cool, voice acting wasn't cringe, and she put her best foot forwards with a really solid "talking to herself" skit with her new model that was very fast paced and well done.

(an aside, it's a bit weird for them to be all talking about gamer sups flavours to 20k people 5 minutes before a big debut. I know they're just regular streamers and are free to act as they like, that's the point of vshojo, but that seems like just bad business sense. They are big into sponsoring streamers and got a ton of free advertising, not even a code was jokingly said to benefit in some way)

Pretty sure snuffy is next. Surprised she wasn't one already, a year ago it seemed like a given. Although she's been having some issues and hasn't been in a good place for a bit, took a break, she's back now and seems OK fingers crossed. So we might see her start gearing up for something in the new year.

it would be funny if one them gets really good at fifa or madden or nba2k and dunks on the jocks that plays these type of games.

axel would most likely play sports games, but it would be funnier if it came from someone totally unexpected.

yea i thought they were gonna go an interesting direction when they recruited rushia and coco. but its really just more the same. and if anything rushia only doubled down on her worst traits.

the whole "talent freedom" thing isnt that free when you feel pressure to do lewdtuber things when everyone else is doing it. i saw a small time vtuber mention something to this affect, which is why she stopped streaming as vtuber as well. i forget her name though. she only does vtuber videos now.

Meh, although Gura's stream was fine, FIFA is a game that can be used much, much better than that, I would even bet that it is one of the best games to make content if someone knows how to take advantage of it.
 
I made the mistake of going to /vt/ and supposedly Axel mentioned that Vesper was bonk'd because of an argument with management?

He starts talking about it at the tail end of the stream (around the 2:14 -ish mark) and when chat starts reacting Axel drops his spaghetti like Nodoka caught him jerking it and trying to gaslight the chat into agreeing that he had mentioned it before and then saying "that's what he thought".

I think the dog is retarded.

I kinda hate V-Shoujo is just grabbing already noteworthy people to join their little clique as opposed to either helping smaller vtubers grow or constructing new stars entirely. I mean jesus, how much money you think mouse and nyanners alone have pissed away into new models? They can't shell out a little bit to craft a new vtuber? At least with Holo you have to shed your old persona and they help you make a new one entirely.

You have quite literally an ocean of content creators you could instantly make into a star and you just opt not to. Seems kinda dumb to me tbh. At the least grab some no namers to bring under your banner in a vshoujo B-Team.

The "auditions" are most likely interview rounds with the talents or information taken to the talents and they vote. I bet it has to be unanimous which leads to the low enrollment rate. Maybe someone, like their ex-Niji consultant, will create change cause these girls need to make their money while the presses are hot. I don't really care about the, "help the little guy" narrative as that's not viable as a business strategy. The talents can collab with people less popular like Kson or Iron Mouse. Really, they will be starved for content as you are like your friends which is why Nazuna is a great hire to accompany Kson. If all the contracts are like Kson's vShoujo only makes money if you are already successful but I am sure there are plenty of people to make merch money from.

The auditions purpose is to trawl for interesting people, they should hire the interesting people. It'll be interesting.

ironic. for a company whos brand image is all being edgy and breaking convention, they sure dont take a lot of risks. understandable though. its not an unusual business practice at all. nijisanji did the same thing with their recent iluna wave.

He did talk about it during his pokemon stream 2 weeks ago and ended on the same conclusion saying "Vesper is an Adult so just be patient and wait for him" , lotta the folks flipping out in his chat today were grays and tourists like this retard

your mistake here is you're expecting or hoping for them to be something they never set out or proclaimed to be. Vtuber agencies aren't set up to be charity cases, they're set up to be successful. Scooping up noteworthy people to join? that's what Holo and Niji do too for the most part they just don't let them keep the identity upon joining. But who the fuck in their right mind would be upset that holo picked up a couple 1 million subscriber talents like Senzawa and Shachimu.

You have an option of a safe bet "this applicant has a proven track record in content creation and has shown good chemistry with our existing talent" vs picking a rando to "craft a new vtuber" from a business standpoint the choice is obvious.

she talked about it a bit in her stream as Calli today it's nothing terribly dramatic and she still streamed for 6 hours today through it and has Chadcast slated for tomorrow. the TLDR without detailed TMI is just that she takes pain meds for an above average amount of "monthly pain" that she's now caught out with no access to so she's struggling through it but doesn't want to add on to the latest trend of "holos taking time off for health issues"
