Did not previously realize he was KarmaOneSixOne. That suddenly makes a lot of other things make a lot more sense.
Haven't seen the source yet, however, considering some of people Rocco finds himself adjacent to (like Barrett Brown); or in conflict with (like Kirtainer, LibbyInPhilly; skitzo-cow Joey Camp; or deadbeat dad/American super-hacker Neal Rauhauser), it would not surprise me if someone feels the need to put in the effort to fuck with him IRL...
Then there's the other option: With the long list of people he's pissed off in the last few years it wouldn't surprise me if multiple parties have a few private detectives keeping tabs on him.

That tweet quote (archive) from Kate Ross is particularly interesting, Neal seems to be an obsession with some of these people. Also, apparently she's written for his little blog (archive) too.
I've been looking in on Rocco's schitzo-posting from time to time just to see what's new, but damn, I am surprised no one has bothered to make a thread on him yet; it's like he's so irrelevant that outside of the context of the lolsuit no one wants to make an effort.
Tim Pool has a 100 page thread for being a grifter and "not that smart"... and Tim is boring in comparison.
Neal, with his interesting history, is right up there too, and still doesn't have a thread... then again he has much better discipline when it comes to OpSec and DFE'ing everything.

I hope Rocco & Emily get nothing but ordered to shut the fuck up about everything and honor their NDA's in order to not have to pay Tim the 1+ million. Rocco will never be able to do it, shut the fuck up and it would be fun watching Emily & Rocco & their Twitter friends psycop each other on Twitter and elsewhere.

A million is a million. Some of that belongs to the Minds guy. Hopefully Tim makes sure that Rocco doesn't become a thorn in his side but judging how Tim acts Rocco will get off with a slap on the wrist

Well the investors, invested, with the understanding that the "news" site may not take off and that there was a chance they would not get a return on their investment. Not sure if the fraud perpetrated by Rocco & Emily gets Subverse off the hook as failing, so the investors should be paid back, in my opinion anyway.

Reminder that it was Rocco Castoro who visited McAfee in 2012 when he was on the run.
For the VICE article "We are with John McAfee right now Suckers" Roco had the brilliant idea to add a picture of himself with McAfee
that still contained the EXIF data. GPS location included!
Here's the article. Note that VICE was very quick to replace the picture with one where the EXIF data was removed. So to be clear pic in this article archived on Dec 6, 2012

According to McAfee it was Roco who did the fuckup.
Because of this McAfee had to flee Guatemala and a few days later he was arrested.

That is the Court Clerk closing the case because Timid Tim failed to file anything to continue moving the case along - because Tim realized he had fucked up and did not want DISCOVERY phase of case to ever happen. So basically we all lost, but neither party did.
