My baseless speculation is that Milo left because he probably wanted a more professional and less aggressive campaign. Milo isn't the type of person who likes low-brow wignattery.
Also, Ethan Ralph said Milo was begging for his job back. Not that what he says is gospel, but given his close connection to Nick, I assume either Nick or Ali Alexander was his source.
