Trashfire YE24 Megathread - Kanye West (Ye) has announced his bid for the 2024 presidential election. In his infinite wisdom he has tapped Milo as his campaign manager. Nick has tagged along in order to desperately attempt to cling to relevance .

It's actually not surprising that megalomaniac super famous popstars would have an admiration of Hitler. The Nazi party perfected a certain kind of state authoritarian aesthetic that artist can admire, and when they watch old footage of Hitler ranting and raving to crowds of people watching with baited breath, they can relate to it. A big name playing a 10'000+ dome show is not unlike an old fashion Brownshirt Parade. And lets just admit they are going to get fucked over at least a few times by lawyers and business people of a certain ethno-religious group.

People in this thread already brought up Michael Jackson. Bowie also went though his own fascist phase. He was smart enough to wrap it up in a character and dismiss it as flamboyant theatrics fueled by cocaine. I actually could see "Ye" do something similar, where in a few months to a year he makes an apology, drops the name "Ye" and goes back to "Kanye" or some new name. I think that's why he is doing all these explicit pro-Hitler interviews in the gimp mask and gloves outfit. If you watch his recent interviews before Alex Jones, most of his Jew talk was largely moderate, mostly wanting black people to be on an equal footing with Jews in the entertainment industry. Now with the mask on, its almost as if it's not "Kanye", the rapper who you still put on your workout playlist, it's a whole other person named "Ye." It's like he is giving himself an aesthetic out in case he wants to backtrack.
I've got a schizo theory about Kanye and the mask, and it has to do with the fact Milo is magically off the campaign shortly after he puts it on and that's an excuse for us to never see masked Ye and Milo in the same room.

Re: "they can't be on a payroll of a campaign that doesn't exist..."

When this all first started, Ye said Milo was "helping him out on his campaign", discussed asking Trump to be his VP, promotes "YE24". He then deleted the videos he posted on twitter about it, and Nick has been walking back any sense there was an announcement, answering questions about who he wants to win the presidency by emphasizing that Ye hasn't decided whether to run yet and hasn't announced, and correcting anyone who refers to a campaign. In the Tim Pool behind the scenes video, Milo says it's very important for legal reasons to not call it a campaign. However, they continue to promote "YE24".

I looked into campaign filing rules. When a candidate is just "testing the waters", they do not need to report to the FEC. but once they have spent or raised $5k and started carrying out "campaign activities," they must register and report within 10 days. They have obviously exceeded the $5k. FEC gives examples of campaigning such as "Mak[ing] or authoriz[ing] statements that refer to themselves as candidates ("Smith in 2024" or "Smith for Senate")" and "Us[ing] general public political advertising to publicize their intention to campaign". When Trump announced, he filed with the FEC the same day.

I don't see how what Ye is doing with "YE24", including selling merchandise, and referring to himself as a future president, and referring to a campaign as he did in the McInnes interview, doesn't meet these rules that would mean they need to officially file. If Ye decided not to run he wouldn't have to report at all, but if he does run, when he is officially a candidate he does need to report all the "testing the waters" activity and it is subject to the same rules as campaigning. So, as far as I can tell the reason he wouldn't be announcing yet is because he isn't yet able to designate and register a campaign committee and file reports, or maybe he doesn't actually plan to officially register at all.

I don't know the ramifications of not following these rules but it seems like both at least partially Milo's fault, and something he could use against them for revenge. Or perhaps this is just a bunch of dogshit analysis of something I don't know anything about, maybe someone else knows more.

It's legal and bureaucratic nit picking that would usually just be ignored or let go, but this is the sort of thing that the powers at be can use to crucify people if they feel seriously threatened or offended, like how the IRS was used to take down Capone.

My pal's first manic episode eventually culminated in her deciding in the middle of the night that she wanted to take down a partition wall in her house, so that her kitchen was now completely open plan to her living room. Using a sledgehammer, which was the only tool available in her house at the time. It was of course not a partition wall, but a load-bearing number. Luckily she ran out of steam and the noise of the fabric of the home starting to collapse alerted her neighbours before she got the whole thing down.

She survived to tell the tale, now diagnosed and correctly medicated, with only a few broken bones. The home insurance eventually paid out.

I always used to think of that as the worst manic episode I had heard of myself, but Kanye running for president as a white nationalist screaming about Jews really BTFO's the wall story.

You know quite a lot, actually, certainly more than I did until reading this! I had no idea you had to file or do any of that to run a campaign. But I think you’re right, that’s probably why they’ve been emphasizing that Kanye hasn’t decided whether he’s running yet.

I see… we’re bringing tranny porn incidents into this now….

Also for others who aren’t Star Wars people like me who had to look up Salacious Crumb, it’s a hilarious comparison for Nick

I'm always surprised by Nick's stupidity. The final straw which broke the Alt-Right was Richard Spencer's inability to recruitment moderates (Lauren Southern, Sargon, Styx, etc.). Once that occurred, his movement stagnated. Nick is making the exact same mistake. These moderates (Alex Jones, Steven Crowder and Gavin McInnes) are the most adjacent to Nick. Either he wins them over or his movement stagnates.

He hasn't decided yet if he wants to run as a democrat of republican.

Speaking of ol'e Spence
He hosted a Twitter space talking about Kanye, desantis, trump, and Fuentes
10:20 - 21:20

Spencer also did a 2 hour interview with stardust 3 days ago about Kanye. https://youtu.be/YaaXYlSGZ1Y
(I haven't watched it yet)

Seems Spencer has been paying attention to the Kanye news.

Spencer hates Milo for obvious reasons
>Audio related

I did recall listening to a Twitter space a month ago between Fuentes and Spencer from a /pol/ thread and it was cordial which I thought was odd. Considering a lot of the spic Fuentes and Mexican child leader of the white race memes that shows like the Kino Casino use came from Spencer and sperg /pol/ shit flinging threads between the two. (I found it)
So Spencer seemingly taking the Knee to Fuentes in some degree seems a sort of "oh how the tables have turned" situation. Idk.

Not to mention Fuentes leaked the private phone call between him and Spencer almost a year ago on his show.

/pol/ is 90% bots spamming demoralizing bullshit, incels, and terminally online losers who perceive themselves as being intelligent, despite never leaving their mum’s basement. I had used 4chan regularly since circa ‘11 and the fall from grace was very real and very swift. I said ‘fuck it’, after the Russia astroturfing went into full swing, though the incels were also becoming insufferable. I don’t know if it’s a generational change as more users are zoomers, or what.

I remember thinking I was done during a conversation in regards to the Chernobyl HBO series where users were seething about a conglomeration of scientists being portrayed as a woman. The consensus was ‘yeah, what has a woman ever done in the field of studying radiation!? Fucking women!’

…yeah.

That was a year ago, I can not fathom how bad it is now.

My friend's worst manic episode involved her following a college fling out of state to his parents' house, stealing her dad's gun and bringing it with her, and showing up on the fling's doorstep and threatening to kill herself if he didn't resume the relationship with her. Got her arrested, Baker Acted, and charged with illegally carrying a gun across state lines.

I think Ye has her beat.

Did Alex Jones call Fuentes a faggot?? lol

Excessive /pol/ consumption most definitely leads to mental distress and illness, and I think in many ways that is its intended purpose. Not that it can't be useful, but its like wading through a sewer in search of tasty delicious pastries that your baker has for some reason placed in a sewer and they're delicious and you want them.

This shit just keeps getting funnier, everyone involved is so retarded that lolcow critical mass has been reached, everything they do is just automatically hilarious.

I pray that Ye keeps on getting introduced to more clowns and retards. Maybe somebody can convince him to spout even more conspiracies or drink his own piss to detox or something.
