From the pic, they appear to be Steatoda grossa, a common cobweb spider/false widow species, which are even known to eat black widows...

While they (& most spiders, for that matter) are venomous, their bite is not medically significant.

One on the left is S. Grossa, one on the right is a Pholcus or cellar spider. S. Grossa is one of the less venomous false widow species, and cellar spiders are completely harmless (and in fact prey on other spiders like Brown Recluses).

Also, she hasn't gone into the closet for a year and finds cobwebs in it? Shocked Pikachu face. Maybe vacuum and dust your hovel at least once a year?

I know I've said it before in this thread, but it's obvious that Polissa has no friends. Can you imagine having a sick pet who needs a vet, and not having a single friend or even friendly acquaintance who would give you a ride? Even just a ride there for your mother to pick you up later?

If anything indicates that she's just as vile in person as she seems online, that would be the biggest tell.

Was Bella alone during her euthanasia or- fuck it, I’m getting mad)

Some vets are still doing no in-person visits, so it's not that surprising she isn't in there with him. Especially if he's there for observation, it might be a situation where they told her to GTFO, it'll be a few hours.

Considering how desperately Gomez needed this vet visit and was so ill she had to keep begging for handouts because she's so worried, along with the fact that wasting gas dropping him off and going back home just to pick him up again costs money, and that she has fuckall going on in her life to necessitate a drop off, I would think she'd be better off waiting in the parking lot with a book or her phone, which she'd probably end up hunched over at home anyway.

My vet is still 90% drop off appointments since covid started, so I do get that, but I wait around for my cat during checkups simply because the sooner I can get my boy home the sooner I can alleviate the stress of being out of his comfort zone. I would think a dedicated catmama would do the same.

Let's all join hands and pray together that the vet is able to convince Polissa that Gomez needs to be rehomed, and maybe one of the employees at the clinic is willing to take him as a foster.

I also would’ve cut Polissa more slack if she had dropped him off shortly after he needed the vet. I went back on her Twitter and the earliest beg for Gomez to see the vet was October 21:

See, I'm from North Carolina, and on one hand I agree with her, it's frustrating as hell that it's happened. But it's not just them lol, the vulnerabilities the power stations has been known for a while.

It's no secret that the power grid across the US isn't in the greatest overall shape and that crucial infrastructure points in rural or isolated ideas are more susceptible to this kind of attack. On the surface, it seems like this might have been a deliberate effort to cause a large, significant outage. At worst, it was somebody being stupid with guns. Either way, I doubt it was any sort of anti-trans plot.
