Mega Rad Gun Thread

So I decided to build my own AR and do all sorts of dumb COD shit to it. Upon doing some research, the gun I want to build would be considered an SBR according to the glow nigs. I would need to give the alphabet soup bitches $200 to have it registered with them. Since I'm going to buy all the parts online, it would be easy to see what I'm building. My question is: how aggressively do glowies pursue SRB violations and is it a slap on the wrist or go directly to federal pound me in the ass prison?
A slave obeys, a free man chooses and shoots the first fudd who asks for his paperwork at the range. It's the SROs fault for not wearing lvl four plates

A lot of the shit here is gibberish, especially the "union busting" being that the pro-union president and pro-union congress voted to take away a workers right to strike and demand fair treatment in the workplace.

Some ATF puff post on Twitter posted photos of the ATF's in door range.

Holy fucking shit, the walls, floor, and ceiling.

I'd be fucking arrested if I shot like that at our range, especially since it's outdoors.
If not arressted at least charged for it. My local in door range has big sign when you walk in stating if you hit anything but the back stop you will be charged for repairs.

Is it just me, or is it always hot in indoor ranges? My eyepro frequently fogs up.
I don't think I've ever been in one that's climate controlled.
Seems like they all only have an exhaust fan running full blast to try and keep lead particles out of the air and provide a little movement.
All I know is if it's hot outside it's pretty warm on the line inside and just the opposite when it's cold.
I typically don't have fogging issues with my eye pro.

Your thigh will be in my prayers.
Real talk: did Sig fix that drop discharge issue, or are the reports and lawsuits something entirely new? I heard they're being sued by a Massachusetts detective, and that Milwaukee PD said not to use them.

I also am struggling to find an impartial opinion on the matter. It's either the anti-gun media looking for red meat to pounce on, or Sig shills playing defense on their behalf. Some people are claiming they were due to using incompatible holsters or were negligent discharges.

for the US M17 and M18 pistols, yes. for P320 maybe. it depends on when you purchased the pistol. the core issue was the trigger mechanism and mass of the trigger, when dropped at a specific angle, the trigger has enough inertia to possibly have an unintended discharge. SIG offers to dealers a complete cost-free fix where the trigger was replaced with one with less mass, but there is now a disconnector that prevents the sear from release if the slide is not fully in battery as well as an additional leg added to the trigger that must be overcome to release the sear to begin with. these additions seem to have "fixed" the original problem and it is up to specific users or dealers or departments to notify and submit the pistol for service.

I've been to climate controlled ones. It's usually where the upper middle class/yuppie folk who shoot in large towns are. I saw them selling shit like a gold Henry 44/ AK.

So basically it'll never get done because public sector is retarded?

pistols produced on or after January 2015 will have the modification probably, but you can visisbly remove the slide and observe the flag that interacts with a slot cut into the slide and the thinner trigger to confirm if a given P320 has been "fixed". it is the combination of these two things (not one or the other alone) that are the "fix" for the drop safety concern.

Mine is brand new, and I just got it Saturday.
