Nope. It's on Amazon Prime, no need to bother. It was fine, but nothing special and didn't feel like proper Evangelion. I found the constant battles grating, there was no gravity to them and no sense of horror that pervaded the TV series. The village communism was a big facepalm - absolutely redundant. Anno seems to have made it out of spite for the fanbase, considering the ending. Ironic, he is the one who just cannot let go of this money-making franchise. The only sequence I still go back to is Shinji's interactions with Kaworu at NERV.
