Here comes the real super heroes of this thread: Twitter cat ladies. Get her, ladies!
Idk if you wanna tip this cow with your hands. Use a harpoon gun. She’s more of a whale anywayI know cow-tipping is discouraged
So this account is brand new and has no other interactions besides these ones with Polly. Is it a lurker?
As an optimist I see a partially open urethrapartially blocked urethra
Technically, this is true, but personally, I would be extremely irritated if my vet released information like this over the phone without proof of identity, to the point that I would likely seek care for my pets elsewhere if they did so. Obviously, the animal doesn't care about privacy or confidentiality, and that's not what I'm concerned about either, but never underestimate the lengths some people with nefarious intent will go to to find out specifics about another person. The clinic should be willing to tell anyone who calls what the bill total so far, his exact diagnosis, and what treatments they're doing. Vets don't have to maintain confidentially.
Looks like we have ourselves a ween.So this account is brand new and has no other interactions besides these ones with Polly. Is it a lurker?
I would assume even Pissa isn't enough of a retard to give out the name and number of a vet that was caring for Gomez and telling people to give them money for payment when the second someone who did try to help Gomez out called, the receptionist would simply respond "who?" If he wasn't actually there.Do we have any proof she even went to the vet? These prices make no sense. I know when I had a cat stay multiple nights at a vet they didn't require prepayment, so it's possible she's just pretending she can pay so she can whine later, but I sort of get the feeling the cat never went anywhere. Nobody would tell her all this is within a $300 limit. She was spiteful people wouldn't accept her Chinese herbal shit, so maybe she's just writing fiction to stop the criticism and expanding it into grift bait?
Absolutely not. This is someone's private property (i.e. the animal) under discussion. Unless it's the person, or someone they've designated as an alternative contact then no, none of that information should be public. Think of the potential for abuse by abusive (ex)partners, family, friends, even random stalkers. I know you want to see Gomez helped. I desperately wish I could help him (and his fellow suffering creatures in Polissa's hoard) myself. But no, no *way*, that is private and confidential information belonging to the owner even if that person is scum. Even if the animal is seized that information is confidential to the agency acting in that case. Just as with children or valuable personal property the people who have care of it in the owner's behalf should be treating it as something to be protected, and that doesn't mean handing out information to any random person who calls*.The clinic should be willing to tell anyone who calls what the bill total so far, his exact diagnosis, and what treatments they're doing. Vets don't have to maintain confidentially.
