Honestly one of the most irritating things about Thunderf00t's videos is how often he repeats himself IN THE SAME FUCKING VIDEO. Then he also makes damn sure to repeat everything he said in the last Musk video in the next Musk video. It really is repetitive and obnoxious.

You are 100% right. I stopped to watch his videos because of that. 25 minutes of repeating the same thing than dozen of previous videos for 5 minutes of real content, every time. The guy doesn't know how to make updates on a subject. The hyperloop saga was actually an interesting story about public and private financement spent on a doomed-from-the-start phony project and yes elon musk was really involved at the start of it, but he made it as an incredibly long rant of many, many hours repeating the same shit.
He could have made instead a 1,5 hour documentary that would have been great to watch.

Yeah I also fully agree with almost everything he says but he's been repeating the same shit for more than 10 consecutive musk videos. Which is understandable considering there's nothing new to say for so much content. Musk is a fraud and cheat but repeating it for 10+ minutes every other video doesn't make me dislike him anymore than i already do, it just makes the thunderfaggot even more annoying. I like some of his videos but the Musk saga should have ended like a year ago.

Bit of anecdote, but I knew someone who bought a Model S. They ended up dumping it when the service contract ran out as the thing kept breaking down constantly. The nice thing was while the contract was active they got the repairs done for free and they gave him random Tesla vehicles to drive. They're nice cars when they work, but they also have a shit ton of issues and aren't practical for normal people.

Elon's "Full Self-Driving" fakery has convinced people they could play video games or sit in the back seat while driving and gotten them killed.

And there are plenty of fake things that might not have killed people, but did steal billions of dollars from suckers and put it in Elon's pockets. Remember Elon's bitcoin tweets? He basically manipulated the price of crypto on Twitter, had Tesla sell into the spike, temporarily boosted company revenue high enough to trigger a multi-billion-dollar bonus clause that was essentially paid for out of investors' pockets.

He's actually gotten quite a bit better about structure repeating what he's said already in more recent videos...if it's a fresh topic. I went back and watched some of his much older stuff recently and the worse script structure of it is very apparent.

In more recent videos he does still copy/paste bits he likes if he wants to talk about a particular topic again though, so especially in multipart busted topics it's easy to end up with >=50% sustainably sourced ocean bound reused footage.

I think Thunderf00t is underestimating the hauling capacity of the tesla semi somewhat. Electric trucks are given the extra provision of carrying 2000 pounds or a ton extra because of their heavy battery. By some estimations The Tesla semi is 3,5 ton or 7000 pounds more heavy then a regular semi. So it will be able to carry 5000 pounds or 2,5 ton less. That is by my calculations 17,5 tons (given thunderf00ts estimation for the regular semi truck) I think that sounds like a way more realistic number then what he is claiming.

I at least don't see any similarities with Theranos and the claims that Holmes woman was doing. If you want an electric semi and don't need to drive places where there isn't electricity. This concept is totally doable. I don't see anything wrong with someone designing and building an electric truck. What is the worst that can happen? Not enough sales, and Tesla not making a lot of money?

I think Phil underestimates a lot of things because his singular hatred for anything Musk has done just blinds him. I know Musk has some worrying business behaviors (like not paying smaller contractors and suppliers because he knows they can’t afford to tangle with him in court) and propping up stock prices by manipulating other events etc but the guy isn’t the f’ng Antichrist . I am glad he dropped that feminism bullshit years ago because he was insufferable then. But bottom line , and I am sorry if I got wordy, is that a lot of projects he decries, like electric trucks, have merit and there’s nothing wrong with attempting to enter that market. He doesn’t seem to know when to quit flogging a dead horse so to speak and to give legitimate credit when it’s due. I used to really hate Musk when he was the darling of green energy, but then I learned more about him and thought he was funny even if he's a bit of a tard. Though even when I disliked Musk because I thought he was an NPC shill instead of just a wacky conman I couldn't imagine being as butthurt about the guy as Phil is. Though Phil has always been a bit of a sperg when it comes to anything he believes in, the guy just can't accept that sometimes, things don't matter.

Can't tell if it's a recent phenomenon or not but it seems like some people are just really prone to ____ Derangement Syndrome these days. Whether it's Trump, Joe Rogan, Jordan Peterson, Musk, certain personality types seem to be dependent on always having a consensus-approved #currentthing boogie man to seethe about nonstop. Feels like a corollary to mass formation where they need an external person to focus all of their internal anxiety/anger on.
