I really hate the direction "feminism" has gone. This is just sad. He needs to grow a spine and assert himself as a human being, and she needs to appreciate that he doesn't beatrape her every night and treat him as such.
I think this is the most accurate picture of him. Sensitive male, probably raised by an older, super lib, psuedo hippy mother, who appreciates the loosening modern gender roles because it means he can take a more passive role in life. Which is all well and good, except then people take advantage of that and there are times where you just have to step up, man or woman, and demand basic respect. Especially if you have a fucking kid involved. What kind of example is that, a father who doesn't respect himself? (And this is something i usually say about mothers whose husbands disrespect them)
Allison saw a pushover and decided she could be the woman whose equal behavior from a man would be the exact shit she'd bitch about as misogyny and abuse. Though I kind of wonder if she might be a low-key sociopath/narcissist, but I also don't follow her closely enough to have anything but autism to back that thought up.
Edit: oh I guess they don't have a kid. Which is good.
