No. I questioned whether she might have gotten confused with her boyfriend's kink. And yes, I think she does strike me as someone who could have been very naive well into her twenties.

A lot of people just don't really think about child molesters in a real way. Especially if they've had a fairly normal upbringing. It's a thing that's out there the same way terrorism is, or serial killers. You know they exist, you know intellectually they're a real thing. But that's as far as it goes. So she has a boyfriend who likes her to call him daddy and call her his little girl or whatever, and she goes along with it, finds it just a fun game. As much as I give her hell for her words, I kinda of agree that she indeed hates pedophiles, but she was stupid -not naive- in how she expressed her thoughts about it.

I think what she meant is that men in general have a thing for young women and certain fantasies related to it. Like, if I show up with a schoolgirl uniform, my husband (as many if not most men) is gonna love it and have fun with the roleplaying, but that doesn't mean he would have sex with an actual child. I've met a couple of people who lived during these times and they miss the sense of belonging to something. Not everybody loves freedom in the way America present it. Certain Asian countries are free, but they still have a sense of being part of a country that works collectively. A lot of Russians miss that.
