Plagued Consoomers / Consoomer Culture - Because if it has a recogniseable brand on it, I’d buy it!

It's a gimmick account so it's automatically bad.

Those anti-consumer types are rotten cancer and no better than the people they try to criticize. We are talking about bitter rad-trad idiots who don't believe in art, hobbies, or even entertainment. They believe all spending should be used exclusively for utilitarian stuff and the objective of every man in the world is to raise a family, which is ironic since they believe every woman in the world is a whore.

Look at the example above, they are ridiculing a dude for reviewing a game controller. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, the guy is not even doing the soyboy cuck face. They are mocking the man just because he's fat and ugly. Fucking terrible, but that's Twitter for you.

When the consumer subreddit got banned and went to .win this mentality went into overdrive.

If you weren't a monk living in a small lean shed using a candle you made from the fat you rendered yourself to read the Bible then clearly you were just a soyboy consumer and might as well buy some funkopops.

Typical reddit mentality of taking an ideal and turning it into a identity/personality which you then compete with like minded faggots into who is the most anti-consumer.

I think the fact that they’re shit brands is primarily what prevents them from being stolen.

In a machine shop, you generally are expected to have your own tools (you can usually order some for payroll deductions through the company) and they have to be calibrated by third party companies annually. If you show up with some Chinese shit.. idk. You’re probably not going to be employed in that shop for a long time. Your shit better be Starett, Brown and Sharpe, Mitutoyo, etc
You can take a nice tool and put hot pink plastidip on it and you will have a highly theft resistant tool.

Been a while since I last posted some atrocities, so I got some and important to note. This is a collection that was released this year.

I don't know about this mint green vase. It looks one of those trendy studded ceramic vases, which aren't horrible. But a bit basic bitch, and those are cheap.

The advent calendars are halal, and something I dug up when writing for the sextoy thread here. It fits in here too, as I just can't see why you would even want more than necessarily. The BDSM gear makes the secondhand embarrassment hurt even more for those degenerates that buys this

I kinda like the snowglobe and the white Medusa head candle but it’s Versace so they’re probably waaaaaay overpriced, a lot of the weird knick knacks these brands do are. Like the Louis Vuitton paints:

Weird I have a watercolor kit that's almost identical but I bought it ages ago and it's not a special brand. Y'know it's one of those middle-upper end watercolor brands that was still expensive (bet I had a coupon when I got it lol) and the pigment quality is great.

I'm having a hard time understanding what slapping LV branding on top of an existing product actually does. Who is the target audience for this?

Shit like this is how high fashion brands make most of their money. The vast majority of people will never afford spending thousands on a dress or a suit from these companies, but many people are willing to spend $100-500 on small designer items (belts, scarves, sunglasses, wallets, makeup, perfume, knickknacks like this) that let them buy into the fantasy of being able to afford designer labels.

Things like the plates or the ornaments are even easier to manufacture cheaply and sell for an enormous markup than something like a belt or wallet; but unlike those where quality leatherwork is its own reason to buy it, a plate or a Christmas ornament without the Versace medusa is just a regular ornament or plate.

They got other snowglobes too, but this years design is just logoflashing to pander to the zoomers. I do agree on the plain white Medusa candle. The girl in the video you put in here had a white bust in the background. It's a bit similar like those.

Well, the plates are the cheap stuff. The vases is similar price to the clothing, but I do believe it has something with more specialised forms and they sometimes do limited editions.
The clothing is plain, ugly and most just use plain cotton or plastic. The only things they seems to do right, for the most part. Are the silk, which is the most expensive of course. But no brand seems to do similar, even though real silk isn't that expensive.

True, and only reason I'm attracted to it. Is because I like the Victorian era-like designs they used to have

The controller review guy is Anthony from Linus Tech Tips. He is a middle-aged furry faggot who collects fox plushies, earns top dollar, throws hissy fits when his videos don't have at least 1 million views (yes really), and when his father asked him for a tablet he bought his father a bottom of the barrel tablet from Walmart instead of giving the dad one of his multiple unused latest-gen ipads. He is a consoomer. Also yes, he uses Linux thank you for asking. Redditors felate Anthony with each video just click any video with his greasy unwashed visage and the comment sections swoon at the filthy fatass. That is why he is being posted by the Consoomer twitter thing.

I know this may have been an old one, but for some reason, I can predict that this kind of thing will happen in the years to come:

Even better when most of the things they consume is also going to be politicized from front to back, and it goes against their “anti-corporation” ideals.
I find all this "Manly Leather Whiskey Axes for Men" stuff kind of depressing because there'd be no market for it if men across the US weren't feeling rudderless and impotent.

They won't feel impotent after they collect all 18 of my Manly Bourbon-Flavored Scented Candles (and candle holders with themes such as Viking, Football, and Depression)!

There's a forum I used to browse that has a lot of people like this and I just don't get it

Like I can understand buying a model or two that look nice on a shelf for decoration, but why would anyone want a shelf like this? It looks absolutely hideous. It's not even themed and has no regard for what colours go well next to others, it's literally just a mush of "things from brands I like" plastic tat, most of which looks cheap quality but probably cost $30-40

It reminds me of Marlboro Man. It's funny that Marlboro marketed themselves for decades as Lady Cigarettes before completely reversing course. It's all so silly. How did the fact that their ads had cowboys in them make some little tobacco cylinders any more Manly than any other brand of them.

Seems like a pretty standard gaming merch shelf. Setups like this are usually less made for an aesthetic color-matching appeal and more just personal shelf type stuff. That top shelf definitely needs some kind of layout fix though, shit looks like a fucking convention vendor's table lmao.
