I was just thinking about this re: the extensive “DNI” list in her new “About Me” posts. Members of the gender fandom are notorious for reducing their DNI lists (a hilarious concept in and of itself) to “TERFs, nazis, MAPs, etc.” The comical suggestion that those three things relate to or follow logically from one another in any way aside, it reflects the fact that a level of perfunctory anti-pedophile virtue signaling is standard practice among her Tumblr set. Curious, then, that the only item on her DNI list that might be read as pertaining to pedophilia in any sense is “You’re uncomfortable with/will harass someone over paraphilias”

Anyways, the moral of this sperg is that Stapphy is normally the sort of person who would be RAGINGLY 'anti-ship'; that's the demographic that tumblr-sjw types almost universally fall into (with the majority of self-labelled pro-shippers being 30+ fanfic writers who dont want to deal with bullshit). The fact that she isn't saying that is just another creepy factor that Stapphy probably IS the creepy pedo type that likes to crawl under the proship label.

What really gets me about these woke social media bios is when it says "if you follow all the standard DNI criteria" under the Do Not Interact section, as if we're supposed to automatically know what that means (presumably having any opinion contrary to theirs). Even if it's a person who actually contributes something positive to the online community (unlike Staph) such as art or game mods, chances are you can't show your appreciation for what they do just because your political views or opinions on things might differ. It's gotten so bad that if you don't even mention identity politics there's this assumption that you're a horrible bigot and hiding it. It's all about maintaining that echo chamber.

Kids always find a way, unfortunately. I figured out how to get around the internet blocks at high school to get porn. It's a never ending arms race between tweens and developers to keep kids out of places they want to be but shouldn't. Also, the internet isn't the only place to get exposure to weird shit. I got Ann Rice's bondage porn out of the library when I was twelve. The librarian who checked me out didn't twitch an eyebrow.
