They’d at least piss their pants

ETA: Nice to see a fellow fan of that movie

It is.

It’s the Mean Streets of Nam flicks.
Not everyone gets it, but it was like a blueprint of great things.

Have you seen “Bullet in the Head”?

ETA:
Fatrick is totally a Fat Stan (John Cazale).

Nasty little ratty fucker packing a piece for no real reason.

No, would you recommend it?
Yes.

It is a Hong Kong cinema, John Woo directed remake of The Deer Hunter.

It might sound cheesy but it does justice and is impressive in its own right.

Also Pat “Fatrick” Tomlinson is mortally obese.

I haven’t heard anything about his taste in films but he probably thinks indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull is the series highlight.

I imagine he defends the Phantom Menace too.

No, would you recommend it?
An absolute classic, together with "The Killer" and "A Better Tommorow" it builds the god-tier John Woo trifecta before he became a Hollywood sellout. Notable mention to "Hard Boiled", one of Woo's best and a perfect action movie from start to finish.

I’ll watch it, but you both have to promise to try the Lone Wolf And Cub series. @FinnSven

Already did watch the first two films. It can't hold its water compared to the manga but i still enjoyed it a lot, definite must-watch for anyone who's into Samurai cinema. Wakayama is excellent as Ogami.
I confess that international and alternative cinema is a passion of mine.
Same. Sadly, i burned through my Avistaz accounts so i'm fairly out of the loop with newer asian cinema.

We might all three of us need to admit to being a sad little club @FinnSven

I recommend MUBI, but it’s not Asian specific. More like a streaming service run by Cannes and Sundance.

Plenty of films about mental French lesbians, gay cowboys eating pudding, life being shit in working class Britain, Bollywood singing and dancing, and New York Andy Warhol wannabes.

ETA: I also love it when people bond anon over shared interests on threads mocking someone for being friendless and rejected.

Pat oinked that under Musk you wouldn't be allowed to criticize China on Twitter because of the economic interest of Tesla there. Since then, Musk has tweeted about gain of function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology while the pig has yet to come up with a single negative thing to say about the chink government or comment on unprecedented protests.

His favorite movie is How to Train your Dragon. He watches nothing but superhero or children's movies. Plus whatever his good buddy Paul Weimer brings back from his sightseeing trips in Vietnam.

Christ, that’s even worse.

I really find it strange when grown men without children watch children’s movies.

Superhero? Meh, I don’t go out of my way to see them, but that’s less curious as these days “nerd” stuff is “ironically cool”.

The Vietnamese holiday videos are why they both should be trapped in a bamboo cage half submerged in a malaria infested river.

He should just be told to meet his mother by the River Styx.

I recommend MUBI and though
Had my eye on it for a while, gonna test that 7-day trial soon.
gay cowboys eating pudding
Hah, classic.
life being shit in working class Britain
I love that genre. "Nil by Mouth" reigns supreme but Ken Loach also has some good, if over-dramatized, films in the same vein, "Sorry we missed you" is well worth a watch.

To get back on topic:

Of course, Paddy has such shit taste that even other plebs are ashamed of associating with him. Who am i kidding, no one associates with him outside of Twitter and even there it is mostly baby infant stalker children and maybe one or two SFWA pedos. What a sad cunt he is indeed.
