As for your comment, main reason why I am replying, no you do not need a lawyer to sue people for criminal cases. You would file a criminal complaint with the appropriate police authorities in her jurisdiction. The police would then investigate to determine if she should be arrested and ultimately she would be charged.

If you were hiring a lawyer, it would be for damages caused to you if, from what I understand, she caused the police to conduct a raid on or sent medical or fire to your residence for no valid reason.

If for example the police/fire kicked down your door to gain entry, you could hire a lawyer to sure her for the damages. That would be a civil case.

Or, let's suppose this girl caused you to be "swatted", either by instigating the call herself, or putting others up to it, and as a result the cops unloaded on you or someone else in your house and that person died as a result. As a result of the actions that she carried out by calling in a bogus call to the police, or if any idiots foolish enough to associate with this mentally unwell girl did it themselves. In that case, yes, a lawyer would be required to enact civil proceedings against her for causing the death, and the economic loss associated with it.

This girl is walking a fine line with saying this stuff. Is there really no one in her real life that actually cares about her at all? She is a danger to herself and others.

I hope she continues. Content always welcome at the end of the day!

The way this is worded makes it apply to very few people these days. Getting involuntarily committed to a "mental institution" (not having an inpatient psychiatric stay, these are very different things) is very rare these days. In some states it is practically impossible unless you have committed a serious crime.

The law is trying to address the issues, but the insufficiencies of the mental health system aren't keeping up. When these laws were written people with serious psych issues were disqualified from gun ownership. Now it's a little bit of a gray area actually.

It's the fault of defunding mental health. The gun related laws are already there.

I'm all for expanding and funding mental health services, but I'm a bit biased because they have been my employers for the better part of my adult life. On a more serious note I am passionately in favor of bringing back the old style longer stay state hospitals, which would actually get you better before releasing you, and keep indefinitely people who couldn't manage themselves, but that is probably a lost cause no matter how many crazy people do horrible things. And as many people as those folks kill, there will be easily two orders of magnitude more preventable suicides, and uncountably more lives that are just full of suffering.

Unfortunately, this is a nonstarter due to a thorny confluence of two ideas that are both rooted in different aspects of classical liberalism—personal autonomy for the mentally ill, and the reduction of paternalistic services rendered at the expense of the public. Both are arguments against having a functioning mental health system and were made respectively by the left and the right during the sea change years roughly 1965-1985. The result has been tragic with many avoidable deaths. Some but not all mass shootings included.

While people think drinking every day will give you withdrawals/DTs but it's not necessarily so. It's the constant BAC that will do you in, because the CNS has no space to reset itself at all and like any drug withdrawals come when you're doing it all the time. In that case, and this was my case, you do get withdrawals, serious shakes, even proper DTs. But if you are drinking only at night there is simply no way that you could get this. You can get anxiety and difficulty sleeping, the latter being pretty much guaranteed if you used to drink to go to sleep. That being said Elaine will certainly have withdrawls/DTs since she clearly drinks all day while engaging in poly substance abuse

Maybe ask around your cringey discords where you all circle jerk and ask about how many dox have been dropped and how many people got halal'd for much less. I would really caution you against continuing this line of dialog or your end up like Angry Canadian or Sean Walker or any of the many others who crossed people they shouldn't have. I am going to ask some of my people what they know about you and I hope they don't respond with anything bad or criminal as they are very good at digging up dirt on people engaging in underhanded behavior often criminal.

Unpopular opinion I'm sure, but going out drinking and dancing with other girls her age is a perfectly normal thing to do for a young woman in England. Even downing a bottle of wine is standard uk behaviour for a young girl out on the razz at the weekend. I hope she continues doing things like that rather than being terminally online.
