You could write a stellar doctoral thesis about the interaction between trans communities and a consumption culture where every interaction is viewed through the lens of customer service. (Ignoring the fact that no university would support you doing so)
So much of their off putting behavior stems more from the perception that they have ultimate authority over others because they have divine right over Emoloyees as Customers than any trans specific trait. They hate medical workers so much because they are service providers who do not conform with their desired Customer/Employee power dynamic. You could make an argument that this makes a lot of trans culture oddly pseudo right-wing and hyper capitalist but I’m already risking a lot of puzzle piece reacts
The trans affinity towards cyberpunk is a great illustration of this. They love the part of the setting where you can just buy any modification to your body that you please but entirely ignore the part where that’s a bad thing because it trades away ownership of your body as well. In a cyberpunk world, a trans man could go buy a new penis, but the ‘moral’ of cyber punk is that your new penis would likely come with DRM software that would disable your ability to achieve an erection if you don’t pay the monthly premium subscription fee.

Ok so I know this comment was a while ago but I just have to respond to this spergery because this notion that the media and “propaganda” made women afraid of men is a very common talking point said by retarded anti feminist men online and it’s absolutely untrue and spoken from a place of male privilege. Honestly I think it comes from the fact that men don’t like being called out on their hyper violence and how it affects women and society so they just defer to calling it evil feminazi propaganda meant to instill some newfound fear of men into women and try to pretend as if the fear of men is liberal nonsense only shared by zoomies and not the culmination of centuries long one sided gender based violence perpetrated by men towards women. Women have always been afraid of men because men are violent towards them. Simply put. It’s not a new thing that was just invented it’s always been like that. Men, being as unempathetic as they are and generally avoidant of seeking accountability for their degeneracy would rather just downplay and (dare I say it) gaslight women into believing that our normal fear of our only natural predators is somehow hysterical while also being the one half of the population that commits 90 percent of all crime.
And of course, the man is going to downplay the severity of the loss of abortion rights into just “muh roe”. Just as unempathetic and callous as usual.

Honestly, this is heartening. r/nursing has asspatting threads every week or two about how trans-inclusive they are (but not their awful coworkers, oh nooooo). It's nice to remember that, in the real world, ED staff have seen plenty of fake suicide attempts by an adult with positive teddy bear sign and a pound of cosmetics, and aren't being distracted by the gender issue.
The emergency department has never been the place for Quality Psychiatric Care. They're drowning, there are heart attacks and septic people who need treatment crumping on chairs in the lobby, but they're not allowed to turn you away once you say the magic words. Now there's a troon posting selfies and bitching on social media in between 15-minute safety checks on a clipboard that he didn't kill himself. In a just world they'd be able to deputize him as a candy striper; nothing more affirming to womanhood than a pink collar job where you care for others, right?
