That name seems to be making a comeback though because I've met two little kids with that name recently. She probably picked it up from a baby names list or something. It's impossible for these girls to choose a name that was normal when they were born.

I think they do use baby name lists. They'll look up "boy names" along with whatever letter they want. Everything that shows up is lists of names that are popular now... for babies. That's why there's so many Theos and Arlos and Aidens. If they looked up names from say, 20 years ago, classics like Christopher and James were still popular.
