Yeah he does like two shows with Nerdrotic and a show with Drinker aswell. He doesen't bring Rags or Fringy on but he's good friends with Nerdrotic and Az and they basically never challenge him on anything from what I've ehard. Or is Mauler really so far gone that even things like bait and switch female cash grab from the corporation known for doing exactly that, now upsets him? I know I've heard Youtuber "etiquette" is to not steal the show from the host and not to rock the boat, so that might be part of it, but I don't really see the point of going on a stream just to suck off the host or be quiet any time they disagree.

I'm inclined to think in line with huecoffs02 in that he is trying to have his cake and eat it too by participating with wrongthinkers and trying to tow the progressive line simultaneously. The only thing that comes close is the infamous Bly Manor stream with Drinker. Even being 3 v 1 against Drinker they came out looking not so good, this is the only example I can think of were they were outside their bubble. This is also the stream that (probably) made Drinker avoid "debate" style shows.

Despite claiming the opposite the Jenny Nichols drama affected them and the podcast more than people thought and it's seen as a kind of a schism where the hosts of the video consider Efap to have fallen off and never recovered.

Which brings me to my final point that makes me dislike all three. Though Drinker is significantly less guilty of this then Nerdrotic and Az. Which is their criticisms get hung up on these weird points like "Oh there's too many lesbian scenes in the show" and they basically never adress the glaring flaws with the plot or dialogue etc.
This is why I liked Maule rinitially cause he did that, but now he's guilty of the same thing in his SM response. Instead of adressing his poor arguments he gets hung up on weird points that are irrelevant and only serve to expose his hypocrisy.

The reason many YouTube reviewers don't attack the propaganda directly is because it would deflate much of any further analysis of why what they are reviewing is bad. I've watched some of Mauler, Drinker, and that whole sphere's content, and quickly became annoyed at what seemed like them deliberately missing the forest for the trees for the purpose of being able to continue put out content and keep the gravy train rolling. Why are Marvel, Star Wars, and Disney movies in general stupid and mediocre? Because it's mainstream garbage for normalcattle retards who will watch because of the names and actors associated with it, who've probably never used words like "continuity" in a conversation about a movie in their entire fucking lives. Why are these movies pushing political propaganda despite the fact that they alienate the true fans? Because they're fucking paid to. You could sum up why all of this trash isn't worth watching in a single video.

It's like making a channel where all someone does is review food like McDonalds, and then bitching about how it's bad in comparison to good food from a proper sit-down restaurant. Could not miss the point any fucking harder.

I never understood why watching a 5 hour video that says nothing more than "these shitty movies plots don't make sense" is somehow more efficient than just watching the movies yourself and seeing that... they don't make sense. No commentary that Mauler has ever given cannot be gleaned immediately upon viewing by anyone of average intelligence. Its why the new star wars movies have shitty audience scores. A normal person watching rise of the skywalker can tell simply by viewing the plot makes no sense, and mauler does nothing other than repeat this with specific examples that your brain already noticed. Mauler isn't inherantly a bad guy or makes bad content or anything, and I guess he provides a service but his commentary appears to be film criticism for the special needs. Anyone with more than 95 IQ can watch the new star wars movies and see the plot is filled with holes and does not make sense. I don't need mauler for that. I guess its good that he is providing a service for the mentally disabled or those who don't just watch the movies however ( but I wonder the motivation for the later considering his video is longer than simply watching the movie)

Additionally, for a guy who pretends like he loves film, he really hasn't seen many of them has he? I mean other than marvel films and blockbusters from the last 15 years his repertoire is barren. Yet again, for a normal person that's fine, but for an alleged kinographer its a bit embarrassing. Isn't this the guy who hadn't even seen Taxi driver, a staple normal film, not even anything obscure, until forced to for Joker? I don't mean to get too autistic about gatekeeping, but just compare him to equally spastic peers like Ralph the movie maker or YMS, imperfect people for sure for their own reasons but at least they have seen a movie or two, and it elevates their commentary. It reinforces this feeling that he is the movie critic specially catering for the special needs. Again, like I guess there is a market for it, and the parasocial friend simulator aspect of it definitely plays into this considering the target audience seems to be lower IQ people anyway. The real problem is that he hosts a podcast with a gay pedophile furry. At least YMS knows his shit with movies and has seen everything.
