I wonder if the left is going to be able to keep up the trend of fucking up the most left-wing areas, then moving into nice right-wing areas and voting for all their shitty leftist policies until the formerly right-wing place is fucked up, then picking up and finding a new right-wing place to fuck up. However, the situation could turn out like it did in New York where things got so bad that all the lefties just covered their eyes and let Giuliani over-police the "problem areas" until things were back under control.

Then there's a happening and the "conservatives" flee the fucked up shithole for the red utopia they've heard about. But they're not truly conservatives. They don't have a conservative bone in their body because everyday liberal insanity is their measurement.

They show up to the red utopia and put on a MAGA hat and vote for whoever the Republican establishment tells them is conservative (see Jeb Bush or Ron DeSantis). These politicians say the right things and pay lip-service during PR conferences, then turn around and enact liberal policies when no one is looking.

The "conservative" transplants then vehemently defend these politicians and liberal policies because, and I fucking quote, it's "nowhere close to as bad as where they came from" and you should just shut up, you traitor! Anyway, their property values are going up because they invited their friends from the liberal shithole to come move here (don't ask about their politics though, they're def conservatives too).

It’d probably harm their political efforts if people could actually understand what they were saying. Which is effectively good optics because most normal people on the right get bogged down trying to argue within the left’s newspeak.

The pro-life people are correct when they say women are sacrificing their unborn babies to fuel whoredom but then they lose all sympathy when they say victims of rape should be forced to full term. The libertarians are right that we have too much wasteful spending but then they tell you to fuck yourself when it comes to healthcare and education costs. The wignats are right about demographic change but then they blame the Jews and worship Hitler. The Evangelical Christians are entitled pricks. They expect everyone to convert to their religion despite providing 0 evidence and they don't care about the consequences of banning science. So our grassroots is vile and toxic and they push the moderates away. The right has no sympathy for the far-right.

Singapore is the good example that extreme authoritarianism that is clearly spelt out of what you are and aren't allowed to do is an effective form of government it's also a functioning democracy
But due to the ruling political party actually running the government well it's basically a one-party dictatorship
So yes you could banned pornography you just has to enforce the ban extremely efficiently and saying what is it isn't pornography and not be vague about what you consider pornography
That's the problem with the War on Drugs it's vague what isn't is in possession of drugs what is and isn't dealing drugs it has to be very clearly spelled out

i don't know about it being so ultra difficult. child porn is already banned and the authorities are doing a relatively good job at keeping it off the public internet for the most part. sure it doesn't stop cp from existing entirely, but it does stop its spread and proliferation through society.

not sure if this would work as well with normal porn, but it would definitely by worth a try.

I'll high IQ so I already thought about this issue and solved it. You can only ban stuff if a super majority (ideally as close to 100%) of the population supports it & if the punishment fits the crime. The problem with the war on drugs and prohibition is that a large percentage of the population wanted to drink and eventually wanted to smoke and even the people who weren't alcoholics or drug addicts didn't think the punishment for drinking alc. or smoking weed fit the crime and so they eventually favored legalization. So with regards to porn or abortion, the demand is too great to outright ban. You need to have a massive social change and once you've already decreased porn or abortion rates then you could ban it otherwise you'll have the same problem as banning alcohol and weed.
