This was my first ever post on KiwiFarms trying to start a thread on this Japanese lady who does African hairbraiding and goes to Compton yearly. I'm copying it for your pleasure. I hope you enjoy it!

So as one is want to do, I was browsing Instagram with Japanese hashtags of offensive shit. I searched the Japanese word for "nigger" (ニガー) and, interestingly, other hashtags starting with that were suggested as well, with ニガーズハウス ("nigger's house") catching my eye. That led me to this beautiful picture:

As I dug deeper into this Instagram account, it led me down a rabbit hole of a subculture I didn't know existed: Japanese people in Fukuoka LARPing as black people.

Epitomizing this group is our lolcow herself, Mayuko Yoshii (芳井万由子) aka BlaccPrideBraids_Mayu [EDIT: She changed her business name to High Life Braids (RIP Blacc Pride Braids) and is now HighLifeBraids_Mayu on Instagram. I guess the name is a combination of American beer brand "Miller High Life" (as her logo apes) as well as marijuana use (which is highly illegal in Japan) which is on her sign in her store], henceforth referred to simply as "Mayu". As her Instagram name implies, she owns an African hairbraiding salon in Fukuoka, Japan, called High Life Braids (archived FB page) . My first thought was how this business stays afloat, but as the first pic shows, there are seemingly tons of trashy Japanese people in Fukuoka willing to degrade themselves in the name of style. Mayu's style and subculture is what's known in Japan as "B-kei" (B系), meaning "black people style". This leads to some hilariously bad fashion choices.

She somehow managed to create multiple varsity-style jackets with both M&M and Laffy Taffy imagery on them for her girlfriends. Which is weird, because Laffy Taffy doesn't exist in Japan. Sidenote: if anyone can hook me up with one of these jackets I would be eternally grateful.

I find this stuff fascinating. There's also some Japanese people that cosplay and pretend to be Cholos as well. I don't get it, but it's quite amusing.

I've seen a few of these people before back in 2020, and honestly I don't like nigger culture and they make gyaruo looks like well groomed house cats.

Mishima-chan is a "fun, cute and bubbly" queer non-binary Japanese person who works not only as a translator, but also as a gender-inclusive language consultant.

This guy claims to be a proud full-blooded born and raised in Japan enby. This might be true (or he could be lying) but in in some pictures it looks he's trying to pull an Oli London 2.0 stunt and become trans European.

The entire incident was her fault. She knew she shouldn't have done what she did, and yet she did it anyways. Combine her menhera with her being technically inept (she accidentally showed material for her new VTuber persona on a stream on the Mikeneko account) and you got a good idea of how much of a lolcow Michael Cat is. In fact, the entire incident could have been avoided if she had disabled direct messages and pinging in Discord. There's also the fake drama between her and Delutaya which resulted in both parties getting lawyers just to figure out what the fuck happened.

Both Mikeneko and Mafumafu (along with Delutaya) are utaite singers, which makes sense in why Michael Cat wanted to get into Mafu's pants. The fake drama also makes sense because both Mikeneko and Delutaya are ex-Hololive talents (they were Rushia Uruha and Mano Aloe, respectively) with massive fanbases. She's very much a drama magnet.

It's not exclusive to Twitter. People in the West generally have absolutely no awareness when it comes to opsec. I did slip up by using my IRL pfp and part of my IRL name as the username, as well as not initially vetting properly, but ever since the sockpuppet nigger provocateur incident, I have corrected that mistake. I now have some nickname that only friends of mine can link to me, and my pfp is just some Genchink shit.

He didn't come into any sort of notoriety in the mainstream until May 2020, when a video he uploaded of himself eating Sashimi in an Okazaki supermarket got him arrested. It's important to note that this is not only his first youtube related arrest, but also this was during covid, as later on it was reported that a man in detention had been spreading covid among the detention officers, however he was not named, just his description fit.
