Mastodon - "Decentralized" Twitter Knockoff & Rat King Breeding Ground

Being anti-war and wanting to prevent a Nuclear Holocaust by asking the president to de-escalate, that's like a crime against humanity on Mastodon for which you get banned. Yeah, I know Codepink is trash, still, the message over which they got banned was so normie and unoffending - basically nothing more than "Mister President, please don't let this war become a Nuclear Holocaust" - it's the typical zealous censoriousness you'd expect on Mastodon:

Mastodon.lol is the AntiFa LGBT server that troon Youtuber ContraPoints joined - and prompty left, since only 9k of his 100k Twatter stans actually followed him there, LMAO.

I'm going to bet it was roboflagged because of the word "Holocaust."

Michael Tracey described Mastodon perfectly. So far it's been nothing but a trashfire of people defedding other instances by accusing them of being Kiwifarms with no evidence along with the inevitable spam you get when people can spin up instances on a dime.

Wtf is a #NativeTwitter and #NativeMastodon user? Are they now co-opting indigenous/native american discourse to describe the "migration" of people to Mastodon?

So you know how you can label posts or put content warnings on them and hide them under a "Read more"? Well apparently there seems to be a trend on certain instances where people do it for things like Teslas or electric cars:

source (archive.ph, ghostarchive)

These "Read more"s always make archiving insufferable because you have to click on all of them to screenshot anything and archive.ph doesn't archive their contents (this is why I added a ghostarchive link too).

But it's not just Tesla man bad, apparently it's for literally everything:

There's even people defending it (to say nothing of the arcane acronyms you have to memorize like "ph -"):

More insanity linked in this article here.

joinmastodon has been banned from Twitter.

I think I know why they got suspended, LMAO:

MastodonTransmisogynistLMAO.jpg

Oh no! Mastodon too is transmisogynist, they must be shut down down immediately! LMAOOO!

Seriously now, the @joinmastodon feed is hilarious.

And this guy got suspended over Mastodon's suspension, LMAO:

Mastodon is German, and I interpret this suspension as a warning shot to the rest of Germany. I hope Germany is paying close attention, if they still think they can bully Twatter into reinforcing their stupid irrelevant censorious anti-speech laws.

If Germany doesn't like free speech, if they are so intensely triggered by watching Americans speaking freely online on American social media, then Germans can turn themselves into China or Russia, develop their own government-approved social media with all the silly censorious word-filters they want, and then block the rest of internet to shield their easily triggered, infantile population from having to witness free speech in action. Not the other way around. You can't force free speech nations to enforce your censorship for you in exchange for "access to European markets" or whatever "no-so-free market" bullshit Germany thinks they can blackmail Twitter with.

I already complained here on KF about the fact that archive.* won't auto-collapse those "read more" toots. Even when you try to archive the individual toot, archive.* neglects to collapse it. Someone should contact them and let them know about this.

So public, legally acquired data is not doxing, eh? Good to know

Someone is openly speculating about the possibility of using the GDPR and bot armies to fuq with Mastodon instances:

How2FuqWithMastodonUsingGDPR01.jpgHow2FuqWithMastodonUsingGDPR02.jpg

Let me tell you what will happen when some clueless emo anarchist instance owner gets slapped across the face through the GDPR. They will go to Евгений Рочко and be like: "Hey, you said that as long as we banned all the Natsees from Codepink and suqed the ContraPoints gurldiq hard, we were safe on a decentralized platform. What am I supposed to do now? I don't know anything about the GDPR! You never said this would become an issue!". And Евгений Рочко will be like: "Mastodon is decentralized! That means, you're on your own, bitchez! In fact, let me #Fediblock your instance so that everyone will kneejerk-ban you thinking you're transphobic Natsees, so that you're completely isolated in your moment of need and can't even reach out to anyone else for help."

Don't forget that some of these EU countries are also "not-sees" and don't give a fuck about troons and other worthless breathers. If anything, the Tardfinn types who end up there are likely to end up on the wrong end of GDPR themselves for their severely mentally ill habits of collecting lists of imaginary not-sees.

Mastodon tutorial on how to spell the name "El*n M*sk"/"Elon Musk" on Mastodon:

If you spell it as "Elon Musk", you risk triggering SJWs who will go batshit just at the sight of his name in a toot.

But if you're mindful of all the Muskophobes and you spell it as "El*n M*sk", the more tech savvy SJWs that use word filters to filter out any utterance of his name won't pick up the oddly spelled instance of his name in your your toot and will still end up seeing it and getting triggered.

So you're fuqed if you do, fuqed if you don't.

That looks like a lot of work for trying to fail to get Elon Musk’s attention in the first place. Having to use asterisks for his name as if it’s a Parental Advisory sticker on a music album cover shows they have not grown past their sheltered, edgy phase.

Twitter has the same problem where filters don't work if people censor shit like pussies. Funny how Mastodon has the exact same problem that twitter has. I've never understood why people censored things with asterisks if everyone understands what the actual word is anyway. It's the same with the evil transphobic K*w*farms.

They censor it so people can't just search for trannies bitching about "kiwifarms" and find them. Likewise "El*n M*sk", "Tr*mp" etc. are to avoid people searching those terms just to shit on them in the replies
