I don't really know how I feel about this. It seemed like he was saying "you morons won't watch a proper documentary so I had to do it this way" at the end, which for this topic seems incorrect for YouTube. Also if the guy got three years I don't know why the real name can't be used, apparently Martin is the actual last name and I was trying to research it but came up short so far. Also I'm not entirely sure what information he was trying to share if it not only happened years ago but the guy went to jail and no names are used?
i'm glad I knew there was a twist because as soon as the "tapes" started I knew it was all him. I would have been pissed off if I followed that whole thing and found out it was all bullshit to cash in on "muh trauma". He paints it like "I needed to do this so people would pay attention to the issue." But its really just he knew it would go better on the algorithm and makes it seem much more interesting than it actually is. He was just going to the school when that shit happened as far as I can tell. Imagine getting diddled by a teacher, then some dude you went to school with makes a dramatized documentary out of it. In other news, new Shrouded Hand where he takes a deep dive into the really fucked up history of psychology, hereunder a hack psychologist became obsessed with the book Walden Two, only to do the complete opposite and use negative reinforcement (read: increasingly fucked up acts of child abuse, torture, and neglect) for behavioral therapy.
God, I find psychology interesting but this was super hard to watch. Fucking hell, early psychology research, and psychiatric therapy really was a Smörgåsbord for sadists.
Edit: They didn't ban electrocuting people until 2020? What in the fuck? And of course, there are loopholes so that did fuck all. The FDA is bullshit.

Elan was a school for both trouble teens and the disabled to be abused in which is beyond insane. Luckily it’s closed and there’s a documentary about the horrors that went on.

Wendigoon my guy, I love you, but please if that is your cameraman you would have been better off using a tripod. Holy shit this entire video is frustrating. The spastic jackass handling the iphone 4-assed camera this video was filmed on turns around constantly, does not let the camera focus, and managed to miss a majority of the interesting shit like what was written on machines and signs. I think this video is really out of place on the Wendigoon channel. It really should have gone to Wendigang channel because of how poor quality it is. I think the regular subscribers of Wendigoon expect a riveting or spoopy tale to listen to, not three dudes yelling "BROOOO" for 40 minutes. I'm guessing Wendigoon is entering a phase where he wants to do different, unique things with his channel like the Brown Mountain lights video. That was a fine video, but this was not it, chief.

Usually when people like that cover cases like the Duggars; They don't cover these cases to say :

Overall, I think dreading did a better job covering this case than jaubrey, dreading's video on it felt

Seems like he had a decent Analog Horror idea that didn't catch on, so he made a Night Mind like analysis of it since no one else would.
The concept is good, the execution is ok, it just feels off. Maybe cause it's kind of exploitative? He was at the school but had no connection to the abuse other than being around the guy. If he had been or known those that had been abused, and used this as a way to draw attention to it, maybe I'd of liked it more, but this feels more like "Hey, I went to a school were kids got diddled, let's make a spookems about it"
