There's some alleged drama over Gwelu doing a meme cover of a Pekora anti song (which he thought Pekora had given the creator permissions for) only to delete it over the backlash, but all the information I know about it is filtered through a haze of tribalism and bad translations.
Yeah I didn't get a chance to read/hear it, because I absolutely refuse to read 3rd party accounts from non-Japanese people, especially VT lol. Knowing Gwelu though, I guarantee it was taken out of context by people and people who don't watch him passing off a fake translation.
I've seen some other holomem mention at different times that if they go on a "like" spree liking all the tweet responses or art getting posted during high volume times that some of the backend systems of twitter can get triggered thinking their account is a bot.
for what little insight I could offer I did check that video out when he put it out. Only thing I knew going into it was something akin to "he did a copypasta about confessing to Pekora" and I went to see if there was a translation on his video, best I can offer is to say "He was talking about Pekora in some fashion (could here him name her) and some of the comments on the video I read said he was "abusing the position of being married with children" (Which I didn't personally think came off as hostile or angry but rather just someone saying he can get away with doing such things without people assuming more or reading into it too much because no one would reasonably do so since he has a wife and child already)

My understanding is that he made a cover of the song because he believed that the original producer had permission from Cover and Pekora before uploading it when he didn't. He even tagged both Hololive and Pekora in the description so I believe he was just being an honest retard.
If Ayame can do it, Gura can too it seems. Curious how the others will try to pick up the slack, since I know chumbuds have been trying to find "replacements/placeholders" of varying degree for awhile now.
