Why would you be scared of WW3 with Russia of all shitholes?
They have show they don't have a functional Army, Navy or Air Force but those Nuke forces totally work, that's why Putin is threatening to nuke everyone, because he is so self assured in them, like he was in his Army, Navy and Air Force.
Would you prefer to find out if the nuclear deterrence is functional the hard way? I mean, if you're in the area of the fireball, you'll be among the lucky ones to have a fast and relatively painless death.

When North Korea has more nuclear tests then you why should I take the threat seriously?
And that's just the part of the warhead going boom. If the Guards units didn't have enough supplies on a planed invasion why should I expect the nuke units to?
If the flagship of a fleet is a rat infested hellhole where they have to lock fire prevention equipment out of fear of thievery why should I expect the Nuke sub will be able to even sail away let alone launch a strike?

That's a yes then. Wear plenty of sunscreen.

"If you spend 2.5 trillion dollars on a 20 year war and flee, you actually win militarily." is amerilard cope no one else buys. The whole world can recognize Afghanistan for what it was, when will America?

Okay, name the tactical defeats the American military suffered at the hands of superior forces in Afghanistan. Where and when did Taliban forces overwhelm the American military, inflicting so many casualties and doing so much damage that America's only choices were to leave Afghanistan on the Taliban's terms or all be killed?

Because that's what a military, tactical defeat actually is. You're saying it's "amerilard cope" to say that didn't happen. So tell us where and when it happened.

Russia is frequently suffering tactical defeats and stalemates in Ukraine, where it is physically unable to advance the front, or occasionally even hold a position, at all. We're talking defeats of the sort where your only options are quit or die. Yes, you can still win all the battles and ultimately lose the war, but Russia isn't even winning all the battles right now. It wins some, loses some, stalemates others.

The Nordstream pipeline is still blown up, Russia will not look at Europe as anything but an enemy for generations to come
A hostile sentiment towards Europe will wear off much quicker, lol. Even now, if somebody started handing out Schengen visas (or even Green cards) here, that'd be the quickest way to depopulate Russia.
I begin to think then the conspiracy theories then Zelensky would avenge Khazaria might be not that far-fetched as we thought...
Zelensky is just playing a role of "bad cop", wittingly or not.

Wouldn't that just speed up the process of turning the rest of Europe into Russian provinces? Imagine millions of Russian and Central Asian pro-Putin immigrants flooding weakened European nations, infiltrating European politics and forming a fifth column loyal to Putin there? One referendum later and Russia has a bunch of new provinces. Kinda based tbh.

...Too bad Erdogan already did it first.

I don't have a very high opinion of Russia or it's military but everyone I've ever spoke to believes that Russia's "Strategic Rocket Forces" (РВСН РФ) are as lethal as ever. The whole nuclear triad is somewhat questionable, Long-Range Aviation (AДД) is probably in the worst state it's been in for years. The Navy is harder to know, on the one hand the surface fleet is completely fucked but it's possible sub fleet is better but I wouldn't hold my breath (ha get it?) on that one.

The main issues with Russia's military outside of corruption is the limited resources they have and how they are being spread out. Russia is attempting to operate a relatively large navy, army and air force all while maintaining a pretty large nuclear "deterrence". It's just not possible on their relatively small the defense budget so corners are cut which has lead a lot of the issues we've seen. They also have this pointless "wonder weapon" obsession like that stupid nuclear torpedo that brings nothing new to the table while also draining the budget and resources.

Back to the question at hand, one place it apparently hasn't been cut is their Strategic Rocket Forces. They suffered under the Yeltsin era (like everything else) but there was an effort to rebuild capability and even modernize. You might disagree but people far more in the know think that's the case and while it a meme we should probably trust the experts on Russia's nuclear "deterrence".

The problem with Afghanistan is America essentially served as an occupation force in Afghanistan. With Russia they're engaging in an actual land and ground war. Tanks vs tanks and brutal house and block to block fighting.

The war can best be described as a stalemate that resembles more and more like Verdun and Stalingrad then Kursk and D-Day.

Looks like it is world war three then. I hope for all of our sakes out benevolent leaders actually defeat Russian here and now vs getting dragged into a long and drawn out war.

Russia actually has a very functional nuclear force. They technically have enough nukes still to end china twice and still have enough to end the US tend times over. Even if only 50% of them are functional and that's assuming little to no maintenance was done on any of the nuclear weapons. Just because Russia is digging into backstock of T-62 tanks doesn't mean that you can't pop on some thermal imaging and targeting computers and make it at least an effective tank.

This war is not over by a longshot, if you listen to Russian propaganda they're tripping down on the war, this is literally a war for their survival as a state. They see Ukraine falling out of their sphere of influence a legitimate geopolitical risk. Ukraine especially eastern Ukraine has an intense hatred of Russians. invading the country tends to make people angry. Even if Russia flattens the land, and turns Ukraine into Chechnya 2.0 which with the amounts of weapons and gear the US has sent won't happen anytime soon.

Shot callers in DC are looking for regime change in Moscow so they going in for the long haul even if Ukraine managed to get back to 1991 borders.

Though I believe Russia trying to take Western Ukraine west of the Dnieper is the real Afghanistan 2.0 situation for them.

Immigrants immediately become loyal citizens of whatever country they're in as soon as they set foot there. There is no risk whatsoever to mass immigration, and it's extremely racist of Europe to have not already opened the doors to Russia.

Even east of the Dnieper river is tough for them to hold. Between Kharkiv, the Zaporhyzia offensive, The Russians know full well that this war is being paid for in blood.

There is a good chance this war becomes nuclear but then again there is also a chance it breaks the west and Russia at the same time along with China too.

Exactly, just look at how great Ukrainian refugees have integrated into their host countries.
