AI bros are now taunting starving real artists with slurs like 'drawslaves' and 'paint pigs' Human artists are losing their commissions and jobs to AI art, and they aren't getting any compassion from AI bros. In fact, the mostly white male Elonites are reveling in their downfall.

As the use of artificial intelligence in the art world continues to grow and real artists are put out of commissions or even jobs, they will not find compassion among chronically online AI bros. AI bros -- mostly white male Elonites -- have sparked outrage as it has been revealed they now refer to human artists with dehumanizing terms like "drawslaves" and "paint pigs."

Art twitter is arguing that this derogatory language is not only disrespectful and demeaning to artists, but it also perpetuates the myth that AI is superior to human creativity. Traditional artists now organizing against the AI art scourge (like forcing Kickstarter to delete AI projects) say that using AI to generate art detracts from the personal touch and emotional connection that can only come from creating art by hand.

And the problems don't stop there. Not only do the AI art bros belittle traditional artists as they lose their jobs, they also frequently steal their work and pass it off as their own. AI programs like Stable Diffusion alter and manipulate existing human art from their databases, and spit it out without proper attribution or permission. This not only undermines the hard work and talent of the original artists, but it also devalues their contributions to the art world.

AI art bros often tout the supposed benefits of using artificial intelligence in art, such as the ability to create pieces faster and more efficiently -- betraying their devotion to capitalism. They fail to acknowledge that traditional artists have honed their skills and techniques over years of practice and dedication, and have that human touch that can't be replicated. It takes time and effort to develop a unique style and voice.

Discussion sparked in the art community seems to agree it is time for public access to AI art generators to be limited. Traditional artists deserve to be celebrated and respected, not belittled, robbed of their creations, and ultimately put out of a job by tech bros pushing a single button.

Experts in ethical use of AI say that the use of AI in art can certainly be a useful tool, but it should be in real artists' toolboxes -- not AI bros who seek to target real (often queer and PoC) artists.

I know this is a really short article, but I must beg A&N's indulgence, as something about the headline had me giggling.

IT SHOULD BE OUR TOOL ONLY NOT THE UNWASHED MASSES!

No, I won't draw what you want. I'll draw what I want and keep your money.

No, I won't draw something you think is cool, but I'll tell you I will then vanish.

I'll demand half up front and never complete the project.

I'll keep stringing you along that I'm almost done with the artwork for your massive project you've sunk 6 years and thousands of dollars into, while I spend the money you advanced me on pot and edibles and bad dragon dildos, then say "Whoopsi daisy, sorry about that!" and laugh at you.

Artists can be fucking terrible. They all want obscene amounts. IF they do what you wanted, they act like they did you a favor and should be grateful even after you've paid them.

Of course it is.

I've had to use artists for a LOT of projects, and holy shit. If I do luck into a good artist, I keep them close, because the amount of fucking disphits out there is off the charts.

Pay on time? They don't care. The project is late or rushed or half-assed.

Pay half up front? They still half ass it.

They take your money and give you something else. (Dobson of Hat Andy fame used to brag about doing this)

Argue with you over your art call, even when you hand it to them.

Complain that their mental health kept them from doing the artwork. Didn't stop them from smoking pot and jerking off in a discord for 2 months.

A lot of people are sick of the entitlement and shitty work ethic.

Of course, there are good professional artists out there. Their prices are high as fuck, but you get what you pay for, I guess.

But the amount of artists who can do amazing work when THEY want to and then deliver hot fucking garbage when you pay them to draw what you want outnumber the pros a thousand to one.
I guess even Johnny had to resort to commissioning furry porn after the divorce. Not even the boomers are safe huh.

Except for the ones I like.

Those ones may eat.
I agree with this comment and a bit of power leveling as I KNOW exactly why the sentiment is
happening now. Those programmers are just telling those WOKE illustrators to..

Learn to Code.

For the past 13 years we have had some really FUCKING FUCK FUCKED UP IN THE HEAD Artists that really think that they are God. I am not kidding at all on this.

Many artists that I have had to fire/ let go thought they could do the minimal amount of work, without being responsible for their own actions. They so don't want to work and with their art style and presentation that socialistic mindset of there's just ooozed out its puss of RIGHTENOUS on everyone else. They really thought they could not be replaced.

Well guess what? In a few years I think they will be a foot note as corporations will cut their silly asses off of the payroll.

I was there creating shit during the last golden age of independent content creation 30+ years ago and even back then I saw the writing on the wall.

During the collapse of the Comic Book/illustration industry, technology stated to take over. After awhile you could get by without a Letterist. An Inker. And definitely you do not Need a colorist.

Some noob with a Waacom tablet and a high school grasp on anatomy can take over a job that would cost $300+ per page back then.

The current mindset of people from GENERATION FAIL that dabbled in art is the main reason why I do business overseas. I get quality content AT CORRECT PRICING.

And you know what. This AI technology. I can see myself using it because I have in the past used a piece of soft ware called Mannequin. Example here.

That software created the poses I need to create content/information on what and how I want an illustration of things to be posed out.

So I just might look hard into this and see what comes out of this.

Maybe in a few years this AI technology will mature enough to get rid of a bunch of these Woke Progressives. Just maybe.

I never planned on calling artists "drawslaves", but damn, I guess I have to do it, if these people are crying over it.

And here's the real reason why all of this outrage is being amplified and megaphoned all over the place. God forbid the plebians have access to the same technology that the patricians do. Gotta make sure that only private corporations and government agencies have control, for your safety, of course.
