It's the fact that we're allowed to say it at all that drives him to madness.
It's the saving driving force behind the like of Samuel Collingwood Smith - the mere fact that anyone can tell him to fuck off is a wound to his pride that will never truly heal, even if he were to somehow scrub the Farms from existence - because it is a reminder that he does not have complete control over everything. If the Internet did not exist, he would abuse a spouse, child, or animal. Jones does this because he is an incredibly insecure, remarkably petty human being, If he didn't have troonism to duck behind, he would inveigle his way into some poor fool's life and then proceed to absolutely render it a living hell for the pure, undiluted joy this gives him.
Make no mistake about what we are dealing with: Jones is an abusive sociopath, and if there is any consolation from all this, it is that every nanosecond we shitpost grates on this petty fuck's nerves like sandpaper. Within the last 4 months, there have been 2 big takedowns of illegal websites by the FBI - the zLibrary and the many DDoS sites. In these cases they had to actually do some work and find the owners. I don't know what the apartments themselves look like (the address actually confused me at first since it was bringing up that hoity-toity event space that just got renoed next door), it's not the absolute worst place he could be living but he's in very close proximity to what is. His view is presumably right onto the shitty social housing apartment across the street and the cenotaph park around the block is a cesspit. I spent a bit of time living in the "nice" gentrified corner of Chinatown on Main St which is similar in proximity and if it's anything like that he's probably being constantly woken up at night by sirens and incoherent screaming fights. I would not suggest it as an area of residence.
