-Ding Dong acknowledges that someone said that they thought it was a bit and agrees.
-Proceeds to talk about how Matt is the reason why they knew or found out about Dream Daddy
-calls out Matt for essentially being fake and going on public places (possibly on his streams or on the supermega channel when the topic of dingdong comes up) claiming that he and ding dong are still friends, but never actually spoke with them (DingDong and Julian) after the Dream Daddy incident.

Can't say I disagree with his assessment of Matt. Ding Dong may be neurotic as fuck, but at least he's honest about his autism. Matt (and maybe Ryan, I don't know or care) definitely changed for the worse at some point and it's sad to see.

Hearing Ding Dong talk about this again, and through my own personal experiences, I think I have a better idea of what actually conspired.

When Ding Dong was shown the Dream Daddy build by Matt, he obviously had some grievances with it, and after seeing how miserable it was making a lot of the employees working at Game Grumps, he decided to say something in an attempt to help after some urging from both Julian and some of the employees.

This is when the employees used Ding Dong as a guinea pig, allowing him to take the first step and test the waters before they spoke out as well. When they saw what happened with him getting doxed and blacklisted from the industry, the employees backed down. At best they would get fired, at worst they would never be able to get a career again.

It sucks, but when push came to shove, the employees chose their jobs over their friend. I know Ding Dong said there is a recording of him explaining everything, but here's to hoping we never actually hear it.

As for Matt, it seems like he cares more about his image than Ding Dong. But if he truly wants to be friends or make it up to him, be an adult, sit down in person, and have a conversation. Will it be awkward? Of fucking course. But after everything that has happened Ding Dong is still trying to make an effort to be friends, either reciprocate it or don't.

And for the members of Game Grumps who blacklisted Ding Dong. Fuck you. How fucking petty do you have to be to ruin someone's career because they spoke negatively about your visual novel game? Eat shit.

Well, that was awful.
Lame writing and poopyfart jokes aside, I have no idea why Arin didn't animate it himself or invite some of his buddies to do more of the voices. (That is, if he has any buddies left. He couldn't even bribe Dan into doing a voice?) I remember genuinely enjoying some of his old Newgrounds animations in the 2000s and thinking his style was actually kinda funny. A lot of their other fanmade Game Grumps Animated videos are better than this, so it's odd he went with these guys.

The design is fucking weird. Like someone else said, I get a Vivziepop ripoff feel from this. As cluttered and overdesigned as her stuff is, at least her animations are smoother. I REALLY hate the choppy animation with characters frantically spewing out fast-paced sentences while the mouth flaps two or three times.

Basically, it sucked, which is weird because I assumed Arin has the time and resources to create something decent.

It really isn't weird at all. Arin is two things, jealous and lazy.

He clearly made this pile of garbage because he was super jealous of smiling friends being a massive success and his former friend/co-worker who made it surpassing him professionally. Its a pile of garbage because Arin is lazy and didn't want to put in any real effort in producing it beyond going "yeah that's good" to everything shoved in his face.

The vid basically felt like watching one of Arins cartoons from the late 2000s which does not hold up for todays standards. His core fanbase grew up and better talented animators came into the spotlight while he was messing around with Gamegrumps for 10 years. You dont dick off playing videogames for 10 years and then expect to get back into the animation scene with the same level of animation from your Newgrounds days.
