Perfectly summed up Phils progression on sponsors, it’s totally not that he can’t get any good ones!
I wonder if he actually took a sponsor, would one of his last few remaining whales dip on him and he’s aware of it.. he’s dug the hole now so if he backtracks he looks a hypocrite, however that hasn’t stopped him in the past if it was to his benefit.

This dude took has money and put it into esports. Forget running a tournament. He's putting an entire team and players thru the ranks. Air fare. Travel expensive. Tournament costs. You name it. Ciritkal makes alot of money, no shit.
But the days of that dude relying on ad revenue are far gone. Dudes got his own fucking gfuel flavor you asshat. Forget ad revenue lmao.
But I'm straying from my point. The audacity of a man who talks about the love of the game and all this bullshit regarding the fgc.
Meanwhile he's talking shit about money that is being used for the most part to sponsor fucking esports. And not cause Charlie wants to be a pro smash player. Bit because he wants other people to achieve those dreams.
Not even that tho. Charlie has used his money to make sure his friends are taken care of. Not just monetarily but actual postions of significance and creative control.
Routinely donating 1000s of dollars to smaller streamers and content creators.
We are talking a dude who not only shows more heart in the fgc. But he funded what may be one of the greatest video game challenges ever. 10k for the halo 2 laso challenge. That changed that Dudes life. You could see how much the money and the accomplishment ment to that guy. But it didn't stop with the money. What he inspired was genuinely historic and has a legacy in gaming, at least halo.
No one denies he made fuck you money on youtube.
It's just fucking mindblowing to me you take shots at the guy's money. When that's guys money has always been pretty used for good. And he made it for the most part by being entertaining and original. What he became react wise and his shit takes modern day are deservering of criticism. But the foundation his career has built on is solid. The same with what he's done with that success financially.
As always it all a fucking ego thing.

I remember back in 2012 Charlie turned monetization on for his channel specifically to donate the ad money to charity. He had it turned off before that because he didn't want to make money off YT, and this was when he was still a teenager.
He'd give periodic updates on it, and by the time he hit 1 million subs on YT in 2014 he'd already given away $50,000 to charity. Dude was still a teenager and gave more to charity than 40 year old Phil has in his entire life - yet Dave has the nerve to imply Critikal is spoiled by money and lives in a different world than everyone else.
Also I like how schizo Phil is about sponsors. One day he'll tell you he gets sponsorship offers but turns them down because he's an AHNEST guy and not a shill, in fact when he got sponsors back in the day they cut him off because he was TOO ahnest! But as soon as it's more convenient he'll tell you he can't get sponsored because da trollz scared them all away.

Did I hear him say Youtube has no competitors? Isn't that wrong. And if anyone was suited to jump or (dual stream) to a YT competitor, wouldn't it be someone with the type of fanbase/supporters (small dedicated blah blah) that he claims to have.
