And I'm not counting the bog standard "X % of trannies report having seriously considered/report a history of threatening to do it" as actual occurrences for obvious reasons. Seems like with the prevalence of threats that if they couldn't convince a butcher to fast track them or insurance to fund SRS that straight up inflicting traumatic injury would happen all the time? They'd be instantly rushed in to a trauma surgeon who couldn't refuse them and presumably set up with some kind of legitimate reconstructive plastic surgeon to do cleanup, with no issue about insurance coverage, yeah? Maybe because even the most retarded crayon-eating therapist might think twice about affirming their decision to do this as valid and legitimate? This wasn't a gender identity issue, if I recall, this guy had taken heroic amounts of DMT and thought God had told him he had to die to save the world, specifically by cutting off his cock and balls and bleeding to death. The appeals court agreed, but the 11th district said fuck, y'all are so very retarded and here is why.

According to them title IX is all about biological sex, not gender identity. The opinion is worth reading, at least the main part of the opinion. I dipped out after that because that's the only part that's binding.

They even touch on the issue of sports and say that is allowed to be segregated by sex according to title IX.

This is a good, groundbreaking bit of precedent. It will likely be appealed to the Supreme Court. I won't venture a guess as to how likely they are to take it up. It's a current year culture war issue, so they might to put an end to the arguments.

I wonder if Tony Reed and that Harvard Troon will comment on this, it's definitely a blow to them as it currently stands.

There have been multiple studies - two came out just in the past few months - showing transwomen retain male advantage. They already went through puberty, so testosterone is still in their blood serum/powering their cells, even when on estrogen. Unless they want to hawk puberty blockers for infants or in utero, they're fucked. Males get three bursts of testosterone in their lives, whereas we get none.

I would have given a kidney to have single stall bathrooms and gym class changing stalls in high school. The attention and affirmation seekers won't use them, of course, but I'd bet money there's some awkward and self conscious kids for whom these will be absolute life savers.

This is a spiritually similar clash as the Scottish Parliament's Gender Recognition Act vs. the UK wide Westminster Parliament's Equality Act 2010, which is about the clash of rights between the protected characteristics of biological sex and legal gender identity. Recently I got bored and decided to look at the Steam reviews of an old meme game that came out in 2017, Feminazi: The Triggering.
